I was lucky enough to attend a corporate dinner at the space centre. This was my third visit, each time something changes. Arriving in the evening, the car park is empty, walking our way to the park entry and seeing that magnificent view of the SST's Booster Rockets and Fuel Tank all lit up, positioned for an imaginable night time... First off, at this date (early 2015) I don't know of any free bus tours of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. You can visit it from Kennedy Space Center as a $25 add-on to the $50 price of a general admission ticket. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it difficult to see so much of the history of U.S. spaceflight... Loved seeing the shuttle up close and meeting the seamstress (yes even a lot of the outside was sewn together). Well run experience and can easily spend a day, didn't get to the second attraction that is included so can't comment on that.

Growing up, I used to dream of becoming an astronaut. Now, I can go to the Space Coast and see where my dreams could have taken me. Also if you go, don't forget to ride the Space Shuttle Experience. It's something you want forget.

We went to Cape Canaveral the day after the US government shut down, however we were still able to see and experience alot. We could not do the tour of the launch sites but had a great time anyway reall would recommend this attraction to anyone visiting the area. We visited in early October 2013.

I thought the $50 entrance fee at first was over the top, however in hindsight it was very good value for money. Allow the day. We were there 3 hours and did not get to see a lot of it. The site visit to the different launch pads and facilities was a lot more than I expected we would get access... More

We were totally overwhelmed by the Atlantis Exhibit ! To have someone there who has been there and done that on stage to talk with us was very up close and personal. A must see only about an hour from Orlando.
