I got into a replica of the Mercury spacecraft. It was so tight and tiny. Lots of people took photos there, as I did. There is a very good display of old rockets in the rocket garden. It is the first thing you see when you arrive. I recommend that you check it out after going to see Atlantis. There... More

The Rocket Garden is quite impressive and not to be missed. It is only one small part of the entire Kennedy Space Center. Enjoy the trip with the whole family.

The rocket garden was interesting and astonishing. For us to go from tinkering to get a small rocket to fly to getting the Saturn rockets to start the Gemini projects, to the creation of the space shuttle. It shows we can do wonderful things in one lifetime. A great place to show kids and to share personal memories.

Take time to smell the roses! The rockets are amazing to see up close; the garden is very well kept and gets you grounded!

Nice to get up close and see the history of different rockets. And, this complex is not paid for with tax dollars.

There are only a few places to eat at Kennedy so you may have to go here. The food was good and came quickly. Service was good and prompt so no complaints on that score. Well, anybody visiting Orlando theme parks et al are continuously hounded by background music so a quiet lunch would be a blessing. In a totally... More

The Rocket Garden is a great history lesson. It reminds of the days when satellite TV didn't exist, that weather forecasts were educated guesses and that there is so much else that needs to be done.

It is like you are standing in the history of the American Space program watching the seeds generate from Mercury to Hubble and beyond. I am optimistic for the future of the space program and enthusiastic for future generations of space explorers! Well done.

the rocket garden looks a bit cheesy, but if you get the visitors lecture, all is explained. some of the 'cheese' exhibits were actually Nuclear ICBM's requisitioned due to the Russian American space race. Suddenly it is impressive and interesting. follow this with an added tour of the launch pads where further information is given.
