This is near the entrance of Kennedy Space center, can not miss it. Its a place where a lot of rockets have been well placed , with lots of information & very good to take pictures near them. Most of the place is an open area & advisable to go well prepared with hats & sunglasses

Seating is at a premium, but the cost of the food isn't like a usual 'themed' area. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

This well layed out space was very interesting, but make sure you have a hat as it is entirely in an open space with no shade.

The rocket garden has several rockets with information boards. You can go inside a couple of them to get an idea what it feels like to sit where astronauts have been. There are a few picnic benches nearby so it would be a nice place to stop for lunch or a break and for children there is an undercover play... More

Photos and videos are one thing, but to really appreciate the early launch systems (okay, rockets...), one has to see them up-close and first-hand; there on the left after one enters the front gates of the KSC visitors complex. Most of the rockets are upright; the "small" Saturn I-B is on its side toward the back (ah, the irony: the... More

With the new entrance location at the vistor complex, you finally enter directly through the Rockets Garden. NASA definitely wanted that WOW factor as you walked though those turnstiles and they got their wish. We were very excited to go back after a few years and to walk into the garden, makes you feel like part of major US history.... More

very cool and amazing how big these rockets were. It is right when you walk in to the KSC. You can't miss it. It's fun and educational to walk around each rock and read its history.

You can walk into this "garden" and look up and see the early history of the US space program. It is interesting to see how small these rockets are compared to the Saturn V of later missions.

We have visited NASA and the rocket garden on many occasions and on each visit its always great to walk and look around the rocket garden. During the hottest part of the day maybe not walk around here as there is no shade and it can get very hot. The different rockets to see is impressive and should be included... More
