Photos and videos are one thing, but to really appreciate the early launch systems (okay, rockets...), one has to see them up-close and first-hand; there on the left after one enters the front gates of the KSC visitors complex. Most of the rockets are upright; the "small" Saturn I-B is on its side toward the back (ah, the irony: the... More

With the new entrance location at the vistor complex, you finally enter directly through the Rockets Garden. NASA definitely wanted that WOW factor as you walked though those turnstiles and they got their wish. We were very excited to go back after a few years and to walk into the garden, makes you feel like part of major US history.... More

very cool and amazing how big these rockets were. It is right when you walk in to the KSC. You can't miss it. It's fun and educational to walk around each rock and read its history.

You can walk into this "garden" and look up and see the early history of the US space program. It is interesting to see how small these rockets are compared to the Saturn V of later missions.

We have visited NASA and the rocket garden on many occasions and on each visit its always great to walk and look around the rocket garden. During the hottest part of the day maybe not walk around here as there is no shade and it can get very hot. The different rockets to see is impressive and should be included... More

This is a very nice exhibit but bring an umbrella for shade. There is little/no shade and it gets unpleasant waiting to read the signage.

I got into a replica of the Mercury spacecraft. It was so tight and tiny. Lots of people took photos there, as I did. There is a very good display of old rockets in the rocket garden. It is the first thing you see when you arrive. I recommend that you check it out after going to see Atlantis. There... More

The Rocket Garden is quite impressive and not to be missed. It is only one small part of the entire Kennedy Space Center. Enjoy the trip with the whole family.

The rocket garden was interesting and astonishing. For us to go from tinkering to get a small rocket to fly to getting the Saturn rockets to start the Gemini projects, to the creation of the space shuttle. It shows we can do wonderful things in one lifetime. A great place to show kids and to share personal memories.
