It's amazing to stand under these historically significant rockets. Impressive. The tour guide is very informative. Frequent and free tours, take about 20 minutes. There are also many capsules that you can get in, also the Orange walkway that the astronauts walked to the launch. You can walk in their footsteps.

The Rocket Garden is inside the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and as such, you have to pay admission to see it. Once here, you get to see eight or nine rockets chronicling the history of America's space program. Among these rockets are a Mercury-Atlas rocket, and Mercury, Gemini, and an Apollo rocket. This is a must see for any... More

This is the garden on display once you enter the Space Center. It shows some great rockets from the Mercury days and beyond and you can listen to the free guided tour for more educational information. Very nice display and great historical information. You can get in and feel what the capsules were like inside as well. All included with... More

There are rock gardens, and then there is a ROCKET Garden! Interesting concept. Just loved walking around outside at the Kennedy Space Center.

A great place to see these rockets up close. Kids should love it. I heard many of them saying "wow". Since this exhibit is outside, there is nothing around the rockets to be distracting. Read the info given about them, and take a look inside the capsule of a couple of them. Very interesting.

If you visit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, don't overlook the Rocket Garden. It's much improved over it's appearance in past years, and is one of the few places you can see rockets up close and personal. Bring your camera (and don't forget a wide-angle lens), and take a break from the rest that the Visitor Complex has to... More

Great place for photos. Good for learning as well and very interesting. You can spend some time here if you have time to spare. But with so much to do in the rest of the centre you may want to limit your time here on your way out.

This is a fantastic display, but how about some large signs that tell you which rocket is which and when it flew? This would be my suggestion to improve the rocket garden. You get to see this exhibit with your general admission ticket.

This is part of your Ickes to Kennedy space center. At first you may walk around this display and it will have little impact. But I suggest you take your time walk the garden and read the placards. Here you will find a history of US rocketry related to manned space flight,

It is not as extensive as the one at Huntsville but still a nice display. It is well kept and within a short walking distance of the park entrance, Exploration Hall and the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit.
