We spent over $150 on an airboat ride (which was fun), saw 1 alligator for a split second. We came here and we waded in the water (because we are rebellious) and 2 manatees came and "hung out" with us for literally like 2 hours. I had to finally tell my wife and 2 kids aged 13 and 11 that... More

We easily found the park based on the information on Trip Advisor. After walking as directed, you come to a jetty that is a pile of rocks. Apparently, one must cross the rocks to see anything. Up until that point you can only see the near shore of the river. With a handicapped spouse, and not a mountain goat myself,... More

We brought a friend from California to see the manatees and dolphins. We waited nearly an hour and were in the process of leaving when the manatees finally appeared. Our guest really enjoyed seeing them as well as a large variety of birds. No dolphins appeared during this visit.

This is nice location for music festivals of any kind. I hope more festivals are performed there. I enjoyed the park very well and find very little if any to dislike.

If your're expecting to see manatee you are probably in for a disappointment. It looks like you can no longer get down to the shoreline. the view is from a "fenced" in wooden contructed walkway/pavilion. We visited in mid March 2015 and didn't see any activity, perhaps it was the wrong time of year. The park itself is very nice... More

It's almost as if this were made expressly for the resident condo community that surrounds, but this is what a city park should be. None of it seems to be conducive to attracting this reclusive sea sloth, so if you want to actually "see" them you have to hazard yourself down the nearly impassable pathway to the south along the... On Wed 03/04/2015, I had occasion to visit this park. What a lovely, peaceful 'sanctuary' in the midst of all the traffic, resorts/hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. just over the bridge from Port Canaveral and off of the 'main drag'. The park is beautifully maintained. Very 'handicapped' accessible with plenty of parking and easy access to the walkways. I had my... More

This is an ok little park with a view of the ocean, but I didn't see any manatees. There is a short walking path, rest rooms, and a parking lot. Not much else. Maybe I was there at the wrong time of day.

As can be assumed by the park's name, manatees can often be found at the park's river edge. There is also a very good walk/jog/exercise path here as well as facilities for group/family gatherings. The best feature is the extensive riverside deck for viewing sunsets over Banana River.
