If your're expecting to see manatee you are probably in for a disappointment. It looks like you can no longer get down to the shoreline. the view is from a "fenced" in wooden contructed walkway/pavilion. We visited in mid March 2015 and didn't see any activity, perhaps it was the wrong time of year. The park itself is very nice... More

It's almost as if this were made expressly for the resident condo community that surrounds, but this is what a city park should be. None of it seems to be conducive to attracting this reclusive sea sloth, so if you want to actually "see" them you have to hazard yourself down the nearly impassable pathway to the south along the... On Wed 03/04/2015, I had occasion to visit this park. What a lovely, peaceful 'sanctuary' in the midst of all the traffic, resorts/hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. just over the bridge from Port Canaveral and off of the 'main drag'. The park is beautifully maintained. Very 'handicapped' accessible with plenty of parking and easy access to the walkways. I had my... More

This is an ok little park with a view of the ocean, but I didn't see any manatees. There is a short walking path, rest rooms, and a parking lot. Not much else. Maybe I was there at the wrong time of day.

As can be assumed by the park's name, manatees can often be found at the park's river edge. There is also a very good walk/jog/exercise path here as well as facilities for group/family gatherings. The best feature is the extensive riverside deck for viewing sunsets over Banana River.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and went to visit this park. It was very peaceful and accessible for everyone. We didn't get to see any manatees, but enjoyed the peacefulness and view of the bay.

Do's : By far clean, gorgeous views, and ample supply of wildlife. Don't : Doesn't have a lot of activities to be done. They have a nice fitness track with different things, extremely clean, and the manatee activity was insane. They were playful massively and got great pics.

We always stop at this park when in Port Canaveral. There is a couple of nice deck/ boardwalk pieces to walk over looking the bay. Usually we are here for around half an hour. This time we saw no manatee but there was a large horseshoe crab washed up on the shore. Not much to do but you never know... More

We took our grand kids here to see the manatees. It's a nice quite park away from traffic. There was a couple people sitting on benches reading and another group in a pavilion having a picnic. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible and the pathways are paved. We enjoyed it.

Don't let name fool you...No manatees, but it was January and they tend to go where water temps are warmer. We didn't see any , but this was behind our hotel so went often and the sunsets are beautiful. Nice raised boardwalk/viewing area.
