4 Horseshoe Pits 1/2 Mile Paved Fitness Trail 10 Exercise Stations Covered Riverside Boardwalk Picnic Tables & Grills Covered Pavilion with Basic Kitchen & Even the occasional Manatee! This park is named Manatee Sanctuary because it borders a section of the Banana River that serves as a protected Manatee habitat. While we cannot guarantee that you will see a manatee during your visit, these beautiful creatures have been known to come and feed off the sea grass along the boardwalk.

This is a lovely park with picnic benches and restroom (no play equipment for children). We make a trip here every holiday in the hope that we will see a manatee. We have not always been successful but such is the way with nature. We were told that the best time to spot them is when it is cooler so... More

We dropped by this park as we were close by. It's got a raised wooden walkway looking out to the water. It was very quiet and we stood on the walkway looking out but not expecting to see much. But after five minutes there in front of us a manatee raised its distinctive nose in the air. We stayed for... More

We thought that she was dead ,she lay on her back for ages ,not moving and her babies were playing around her nuzzling up to her. After finding a rangers phone we were about to ring and report what we had... More

Nice little park at the shores of Cape Canaveral. A chance to spot Manatee's as well. We went there i the morning, but we actually had no luck. A nice spot anyway.

Awesome park to stroll and sightsee. Is real quiet and nicely kept. Not much to do here other than relax. I saw a dolphin here and a manatee. Beautiful park!

We found this place by accident and enjoyed our stop. I was a bit disappointed that there is so much brush and bushes near the walkway that it was hard to see in the water. Other than that it was a nice little stop.

The park is really nice! The views of the river to see the Manatee aren't the best. The piers or decks are far from the river covered by several trees.
