As can be assumed by the park's name, manatees can often be found at the park's river edge. There is also a very good walk/jog/exercise path here as well as facilities for group/family gatherings. The best feature is the extensive riverside deck for viewing sunsets over Banana River.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and went to visit this park. It was very peaceful and accessible for everyone. We didn't get to see any manatees, but enjoyed the peacefulness and view of the bay.

Do's : By far clean, gorgeous views, and ample supply of wildlife. Don't : Doesn't have a lot of activities to be done. They have a nice fitness track with different things, extremely clean, and the manatee activity was insane. They were playful massively and got great pics.

We always stop at this park when in Port Canaveral. There is a couple of nice deck/ boardwalk pieces to walk over looking the bay. Usually we are here for around half an hour. This time we saw no manatee but there was a large horseshoe crab washed up on the shore. Not much to do but you never know... More

We took our grand kids here to see the manatees. It's a nice quite park away from traffic. There was a couple people sitting on benches reading and another group in a pavilion having a picnic. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible and the pathways are paved. We enjoyed it.

Don't let name fool you...No manatees, but it was January and they tend to go where water temps are warmer. We didn't see any , but this was behind our hotel so went often and the sunsets are beautiful. Nice raised boardwalk/viewing area.

did not see any manatees but the park it self is beautiful nice covered board walk with gazebo at ether end with benches to watch for manatees. Also a lot of walk around space and covered picnic area. This really would not be considered a tourist attraction but a good place to take a quiet walk,

We found this park b/c of a trip advisor review. The signage is much better now, and the city has built a shaded walkway all along the beach so you can watch for manatees. We didn't see any on the cold and windy day we had, but the park was lovely.

Its just a small park a the brink of a housing area. You are confined to a 10 yard wide, short track of "beach". The place is loud and terrible. No wonder that many people dont see any wild-life. Even ever present sea-birds mind the place - so do manatees. A waste of time.
