Owner description: Located in historical Cape Canaveral Florida, Florida Beer Company is Florida's leading craft brewery. A true pioneer in the craft beer industry, Florida Beer Company has been operating in Brevard County Florida since 1997. In 2005 we merged Indian River Brewery of Melbourne, FL, Ybor City Brewing of Tampa, FL, Key West Brewery of Key West and Miami Brewing of Miami FL into what today is Florida Beer Company. In 2013 Florida Beer Company opened our operations in Cape Canaveral at an old Chrysler Space Operations plant. The brewery is minutes away from the all cruise terminals at Port Canaveral and easily accessible by a short bus or taxi ride. Our Visitor Center and Tap Room provides an opportunity to see our brewery in operation. Our beautiful Visitor Center features over 100 feet of plate glass windows giving the visitor a panoramic view of the entire brewery. The brewery features modern craft brewing equipment and technologies openly on display for visitors to view. Florida Beer Company products have been recognized by dozens of prestigious awards from local, national and international competitions. The brewery produces 28 different styles of Ales, Lagers and Ciders. At any give time visitors will find 12 to 14 different products available at the tasting room. Private tours of the plant are available by special arrangement. Plant tours require proper dress - no open toe shoes or high heels, safety glasses must be worn. 16 and older only in plant. Children are welcome accompanied by parent, 21 and older to drink or purchase beer and cider - photo ID is required. We look forward to your visit!

We are new to the beers and had a couple of flights to try them out. Neither server offered u much by way of recommendations or information about the brewery. As confirmed beer geeks, we love a good yarn with someone knwledgable. It was pretty clear that this place is pitching for the local folk and is a bar masquerading... More

We could not have had a better time at the brewery. What a wonderful spot to stop in for an afternoon of delicious, freshly brewed craft beers.....all fantastic...and local. Take a tour too! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous, and the tap room was buzzing with activity from college football games. Convenient to the cruise port and Cocoa Beach...... More

While visiting a friend in Cape Canaveral he suggested that I check out this place. It was a little tricky to find, but worth the time to find it. It is an immaculate craft beer facility that is no charge for, plus a gift shop. The centerpiece is a circular bar where you can create your own beer flight of... More

On my hunt for the greatest local brew, I made it to the Florida Beer company. They have a great selection to choose from. I'd suggest a flight of up to 8 offerings to give you a full variety. The bartender has a vast knowledge of their beers and what else is available in the area. I would recommend this... More

This place is an AWESOME find! We have been hearing great things about this place and finally had a chance to get over there and check it out. I'm so glad we did because it's an awesome spot, definitely unmatched in the area and the Tap Room setup is like no other brewery I've seen. There are 24 taps with... More

This is a great place to hang out and watch football! There are tv screens all around the bar but let's not forget why we came...the beer! YUM! We tried 9 different types of beer and they were all delicious. Plus, Sammy and Jake took great care of us! We will be back for the Halloween party. So glad there... More

What a great place to hang out. It's actually a larger brewery with a giant tap room. It's not a bar. The day I visited there was a food truck and football on 17 televisions.

Once we found the Florida Beer Company, it was worth the searching! Tucked back on A1A in Cape Canaveral, in a warehouse area, is this wonderful brewery/tap room. Stopped in Sunday after work and entered the large taproom area to find it surrounded by several tv's showing multiple NFL games. Was approached immediately upon sitting at the bar with a... More

There is a bar and you can buy and drink beer, but this is not a hang out and drink kind of place. It is a brewery with some taps, a cooler, and a gift shop. The lights are full bright and there is basically no décor or atmosphere. There are high-tables scattered around, but no servers as far as... More

We are so glad you got to stop in and have a beer with us! While we're not a pub, we do have several things to make the time spent here more enjoyable for our guests. In addition to tasting several of our 15 beers on tap through flight samplers, we have CollegeGameDay, NFL Ticket, Trivia Thursdays, live music on... More

I love Florida beer company, the staff are always friendly, fast and informative! My favorite beer is the red lager, but every beer they make has a lot of flavor. Best brewery and beer around and lots of fun!
