A beautiful beach for dogs at low tide. It is a dog beach and not a place you would really want to walk barefoot. It is safer on week-days as the people are more attentive to their pets. Parking, plastic bags and disposal are the only services available. Large and small dogs run off leash. more

This place is a haven of germs and disease. Lee county should be ashamed to even call this disgusting 8X10 patch of sand a beach. The place is small, cramped and not monitored at all. Our dog became sick within an hour of running through the bacteria, and feces infected water. A dog beach is a good idea, but Lee... more

We spent a month in Bonita Springs with our Norwich Terrier Skipper. We didn't go to dog beach till we had been there about a week and a half. Just after Lovers Key Park in Fort Myers Beach on Estero Island. You must go at low tide. No leash sand beach. Tons of dogs having a Good time. Little dogs may feel intimidated. more
