Bonita Springs Public Beach was very relaxing. I visited every day I was in Bonita Springs last November. Unfortunately, you have to pay to park, unless you find parking spaces down the road, that are free. There are only about 12 free spots, and you have to search really hard to find them, but they are available. It would so... More

This is the last free beach in lee county. Even the parking is free if you can find a spot. This beach is natural and beautiful. Almost year around it is not realy crowded.

Very Limited parking. The sand is nice and well-kept. Unfortunately, the water was filled with seaweed. This may just be the time of year. It was very uncomfortable, though, to have it constantly wrap around your legs. It would have been nice if there was water available to wash off sand before getting back in your car.

This beach was so beautiful. We enjoyed walking along the beach which such clear water. We saw so many protected turtle nests and tracks where turtles had come up during the night to lay eggs. Very friendly people walk along this beach, so we felt right at home here. I would definitely recommend visiting this beach while in the area.

You need to be there early. We arrived by nine in the morning. You will pay for parking, $2/hr. Kiosks are provided and easy to use. They will NOT take Discover Card. There is VERY LIMITED free parking at tiny lots between houses down the street. Where we were there are excellent Restrooms, showers, Barbeques and even a Hot Dog... More

We were staying in Fort Myers for the night and decided to head to the beach before heading out to a week-long stay on Sanibel. Bonita Springs beach was great. Nice white sand and some shells. My kids loved having an hour here before heading back into Fort Myers for dinner. We just played in the water, which around here... More

Another gorgeous Gulf beach...shells, soft white sand. Had a cute park for kids, paid parking. Closes at sundown like all beaches in the area.
