Spent the day here swimming, shelling, snorkeling, building sand castles, and napping. Lots of fish and starfish to see. My kids and i were upset with a family who walked off the beach with a giant starfish. They completly ignored us when we told them not to. Some people?! The beach is easy to find, plenty of parking - we... More

This beach is easy to find, just takes time to get here. Love this beach, clean with lots of shells. Great place to watch the sunset.

We loved the shelling on Bonita Beach, much better than Sanibel or Fort Meyers. The beaches are beautiful, quiet, clean and uncrowded. We love to stroll and shell. Miles of beautiful beach are great this time of year.

We wanted to see a public beach in Florida while visiting friends. The parking is easy and there are rest rooms. It is a tropical setting with many birds, fish, turtles and you might see dolphins! It is a heavenly picture of paradise on earth.

They offer many water sport activities and there is a restaurant on the beach. There is a playground and shower facilities. The parking is limited so get there early to ensure a spot.

What a great beach!! While spending a few days in Bonita Springs we decided to head to the beach for the sunset. We found the beach to be very clean with plenty of parking. The facilities are great and there is even a place to eat and rent various types of watercraft. If you are planning on going for the... More

Bonita beach is just gorgeous. Its very clean with soft sand, beautiful sunsets and plenty of room. There is a snow cone vendor in the parking lot offering some beverages along with snow cones. A lovely and a tad less crowded beach than Ft Meyers. However Ft Meyers Beach offers shopping and many more food choices.

Weekday visits during a trip to the area in May 2015. Very quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Restrooms clean and accessible. Walking distance to Doc's if you do not bring food/drink. Imagine parking fills up pretty quickly during busier periods; we did not have any difficulty locating a parking space. Pay to park kiosks were finicky with credit cards; no problems... More

Was surprised this was a public beach - very clean, plenty of room to put down a reasonably large beach set up, clear water, and even some wild life (watch out for spindly star fish on the floor!). Parking can be tricky which is why I didn't rate it higher.
