Great Dog Beach

Shallow water and secluded nicely away from the road. A little difficult to access at high tide - more user friendly at low tide.

When ever I take new people on a boat ride here, one of the attractions is dog beach. Each time I see it as I did last week it brings a smile to my face. Dogs fetching ,playing with each other, and generally enjoying the water. Outstanding scene

We traveled from Miami to Bonita Springs just to enjoy the beach with our dogs, and this place really made us all very happy. The entrance is like a secret creek, so be prepared with adequate shoes: it's muddy and could be slippery at some points. Once we spotted a snake, but nothing to be afraid of. After crossing the... This is a wonderful place to let your dog enjoy the beach and socialize with other dogs. It's quite a long walk down to the water but the dogs have so much fun and everyone is friendly and polite. They supply doggie bags (PLEASE BE KIND AND PICK UP) and even have a hose type shower to wash the salt... More

We were in a boat and traveled by the dog park. The dogs were everywhere, running, swimming and chasing each other. It appeared the dogs and owners were having a great time.

Great place for going by boat or car with your dogs. On the weekends there can be 50 dogs there. Relax in a lawn chair and let your dogs run with the other dogs.

Always, always, always check tide times. Google bonita springs FL tides. You do not want to go at high tide, as you might have to wade in water up to your knees! Go at low tide and there is plenty of room to walk/run/explore and still plenty of Ocean to enjoy :) If any dog owners don't clean up after... More

When we visited the beach it was very well maintained. All of the dogs were so excited to have a beach to themselves!

In a society so cold as to ban "mans best friend" from all beaches, this place is Utopia! The water was high but we found enough beach for our chairs and umbrella and the smiles and laughter began. We have a 105 lb Lab/ Great Pyranese mix named "Cash", (yes after "Johnny")and he began retrieving his ball, playing with the... More
