Can't. Elieve all the good reviews - they are not warranted. Saw no turtles and few animals on boardwalk trail all you can see from 40' tower is treetops and a tiny part of the ocean.

Big, new aquariums, just getting started. Missed the starfish and turtles upclose. Maybe new turtle exhibits coming?

Situated in Boca Raton in a residential area, actually, visitors may enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk through the mangroves and climb the tower for a wonderful view of the intercoastal. Excellent for the young and curious minds. There are a few engaging activities that will keep the younger ones engaged (guess the fish and learning about different plants and... More

First, they just updated their outdoor tanks - fantastic upgrade! The center is well laid out and includes many learning opportunites about the marine life and the environment. Climbing the tower provides some great views of the ocean and intercostal. Helpful volunteers everwhere! Only thing that could be better is parking - there isn't a lot of it!

Situated right off the beach in Boca Raton Gumbo Limbo provided a great "wilderness" experience for my 2 kids (ages 5 and 8). The tower serves as a fantastic lookout and picture spot and the shaded pathways are a welcome relief from the bright sun on a hot summer day.

While I am sure this is a great program for kids, there is unfortunately a BUT....I signed up my daughter for the Jr. Sea Turtle Program and on the first day I expected that the teacher would do a basic meet and greet with the kids, have them get up say your name what grade are you in and pair... There is a boardwalk that takes our through the forest and a tower that overlooks the ocean and intercoastal waterway. You must climb many, many steps to get to the top but it is well worth the climb. The nature center is very interesting and they have a gift shoppe. Outside there are tanks that hold many different species of... More

I would like to give 3.5 stars. We enjoyed walking the extensive pathways around the nature center and climbing to the top of the lookout tower where the view was great. We saw lots of different plants and bugs and even some large crabs. There was really not much of a turtle display. The staff here were very friendly and... More

We visited in May, which was not a good time to visit. They had ZERO turtles! The tanks had just opened, but were pretty empty as they were waiting on the fish to acclimate. We did walk the nature trails and climb the tower for a view of the surrounding area. There is no "official" fee, but you are recommended... More
