You can see documentaries and other very limited-release or cult-type films here. The student émigrés try very hard to please and are efficient and pleasant. Ample parking. Love going here.

The only downside here is if you try to go without reserving your seats. Nice to get popcorn in a real bowl to go with your real glass of whatever you choose!

Whenever we get a chance we go see an artsy film at this great theater. They have a nice cafe, great quiet and comfortable seating areas which hold small groups. It's really clean and the service is excellent if you want to order food to be brought to your seat. It is run by students. Tickets can be reserved and... More

I love this place! The food is surprisingly tasty and creative, the beer and wine selection is fantastic, and the movie selection is unprecedented in this area. Where else can you find amazing small indie films?

Whenever possible my wife and I go to the FAU Living Room Theater. Tickets and SEATS are bought online. Comfortable seating, only 50 patrons to a theater and an excellent restaurant make this a 5 star review!

I love the intimacy of the auditorium, the comfort of the seating, the foreign films, and the lesser known films. You can order paninis's and other foods, served on real ( not paper)plates, and either eat them in their restaurant or take the food into the auditorium. They even serve wine from real glasses. If you order a popcorn, it is... More

This should become a huge chain, because there are many people everyplace who might like to see such films as they show at Living Room, but are too limited in appeal to play in a multiplex. One of only two in the country right now, the other is in Oregon. You can order food to your seat at Living Room.... More

Reserved seats in small theater. As long as you are not in first 4 rows a great place to watch a movie. Decent dining either before or after the film. Only issues is service at the refreshment counter and for dinner. The staff seems to be a bit unorganized and confused.

Better chosen movies, not like the rest of the pack showing everywhere. Reservations possible, choose your own seat. Food available in lobby or at seat. There was entertainment in the lobby as we left. A great theater.

Shows do sometimes sell out since the theater is so small - reservations available. We didn't eat there but did have popcorn, served in ceramic bowls. Our glasses of water were really glasses. The seats are larger and more comfortable than the usual theater seat, with a table for food. Most films are independent or foreign films. Watching a movie... More
