The best playground ever and it is all free. There is also a merry-go-round which is very cheap and no lines. The park has several hiking/walking trails, camp grounds, and baseball and basketball courts. The Explorium is a good indoor option for kids with hands-on science exhibits, which is free. There is a donation box by the front entrance to... More

We went to the Sugar Sand Park to the theater to see the play "The Matchmaker". It was somewhat harder to navigate to the theater at night, but we followed the sign and made it. It's an intimate theater, so you are close to the stage, which is good. We enjoyed our time and will come back if there is... More

A marvelousl and creative playground with a wonderful carousel. My grandchildren (ages 21/2 to 6) love coming here when it's a bit too chilly for the beach!

My wife and I were recently visiting Boca and stopped at this park. After checking out their website we were a bit tentative as the Children's Exploratorium is for kids 5 yrs and older and our oldest is only 2 yrs old. That day they were offering an arts and crafts "play date" in one of their rooms for children... More

Went to check it out for our grandchildren's visit. Very Impressive,. right in the heart of Boca. Picnic areas, tons of sports fields, a carousel, science museum, and roller hockey rink. Definitely will take them there.

You could ask 100 people at Mizner Park what Sugar Sand Park is (and where it is, for that matter) and few will have any idea what it is. If you have a family, though, it behooves you to take a look. From the ball parks to the field house with an inline hockey rink to classes and programs, there... More

When grandchildren come to stay with you from out-of-town, finding places to take them that will entertain them for hours and cost very little are not easy to find. Sugar Sand Park is that place. Not only does the park have the usual baseball and outdoor game areas, but it has an amazing outdoor science playground that includes even water... More

This park is awesome. There's a tot lot and sand box for the little ones; fountains to cool off in, for older ones there's a huge structure to climb on, through, around and down, swings, slides, monkey bars, a carousel, and benches for parents and grandparents to relax. If the weather is inclement, there's an indoor science center for the... More

Have played baseball there for years. The gym for Boca Hoops is great. Science Museum is really cool for younger kids. Best park in Palm Beach County.

You can't miss with this park for the kids. Ir is so welled planned for kids of all ages. The park itself in addition to the interior with films and scientific displays and things to keep those little minds busy/ Boca really knows how to succeed in all their endeavors. Can you believe it's free?
