Free parking. Gigantic playground surrounds water toys and misters, plus jungle gyms and swing sets. Pushed our son in his stroller up the ramp and around the funhouse mirrors. There's a spaceship swing, giant head with look out eyes, lots of neat hiding places and a slide. Interactive science center was so fun, very hands on, two large rooms to... More

Sugar sand park is an amazing community park and a great stop for visitors with younger children. My kids had a great time in the huge park (which includes a splash pad). The science centre was not huge, but for a free (donations accepted) centre it far exceeded expectations. Staff at the science centre went out of there way to... More

The old style carousel at Sugar Sand was sponsored by the Boca Raton Rotary Clubs who contributed to the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Parks District to purchase and install this great attraction. Children of all ages enjoy the painted horses and carriages to take a relaxing ride on this merry-go-round. The carousel is only one of the may attractions... More

When you come to Boca with young 'uns, Sugar Sand should be your #1 destination. This marvelous, secluded gem is nestled in a sprawling park, just off Miltary, south of Palmetto Park Rd. Plan to spend lots of time here, because the kids can't get enough of it. From fun water cannons, to a marvelous, mysterious climbing/roaming house, to all... More

It is clean and safe, has a interactive wooden climbing maze with sprinklers on the base (so bring bathing ed suits and towels). There are swings , sand play area, and other fun play areas. Sugar sand is a great local park. They have good biking and walking trail, ball fields, skating rink and carousel. They also have a theatre area where holiday entertainment and shows are put on. You can even book a party there. All in all a very nice local park

There is not a bad seat in the Willow Theater in Sugar Sand Park. It is a small, intimate, very professional comfortable theater. We were there last night to see Tuesdays With Morrire. I am not embarrassed to say that I cried. We will be back next month.
