After an initial stop in Key Largo at the Florida Keys Visitor Center, it seemed like a good idea to stop here for more specific information about how to maneuver the streets of Key West to get to my hotel. The staff were not helpful at all in pointing out the streets and turns once in the city to get... More

Well-stocked with information about the town and its attractions; also has information about the other keys. The Pelican historic walking tour map is the best guide to historical buildings in town. Staff very patient and helpful, open 7 days.

Maria B. Took care of our accommodations, and even hooked is up with a reasonably priced private deep sea fishing charter! Maria, is very familiar with the area and got us a decent room at the going rate. Stop on in and see Maria to assist with your visit to Key West. She could book you with any activity your... More

Julie at the travel center setup our whole day for a discounted rate. Showed us where to park and how to get around the island. She definitely packed or day. Don't forget to tip and the island is mostly cash only.

Decent stop for informational brochures, restroom and the like. Staff was nice. Good break to rest a few if you were stuck in traffic before getting there.

Just a tip. Call into the visitor centre before you do anything else. They will give you a tear off map, let you know what activities are going on. They will book your activities for you at no charge. BE SURE TO ASK for the little cards they can give you offering 2for 1 drinks, free bottles of wine and... More

The staff were extremely friendly and apporachable. They had good free maps, and plenty of brochures. In that regard, the visitor center was excellent. However, it seemed to me that they recommend based on sponsorships. The staff kind of pushes you towards specific restaurants and stores, and gives coupons with their name on the back. It felt to me as... More
