Good Trip! Bring Your Own Gear!

I liked the reduced price for bringing our own gear (looking at reviews, glad we did). The boat crew wasn't rude like others said, but maybe not super over the top friendly, but... read more

You can do better -- Go to Looe Key or Lost Reef in Key West -- Not very attentive here, much better levels of service at other places And for God Sakes Never book way in advance!!! You don't know what the weather will be!!! I saw a boat of Green Snorkelers come back one time -- All About the... More

This company is geared to snorkelers and not scuba divers. The boat does hold 6 divers or so and about 20 snorkelers. We dove with them a few times and found the staff mixed. Some of the people were very helpful and others had quite an attitude. The female boat captain especially had an attitude and even banged weights on... More

We felt constantly rushed. The Strike Zone policy seems to be to get back as soon as possible, which seems very short sighted. They do not allow for any surface interval between dives. The boat just moved over to the next mooring and then they want you to dive again immediately. We were barely able to do a 40 minute... More

Went out on Strike Zones boat last February for some dives, the seas were big that day and not many boats were out. The boat we took out was plenty big enough for a fairly comfortable ride. We visited Looe Reef one day and later we hit the Adolphus Busch. Not the best time for diving down there, just getting... More

We did a private picnic / site seeing boat ride. Hazel and Lenny were amazing! They made us feel comfortable, shared lots of keys history and made a fantastic lunch :). The ride was great and so was The weather :)😎. I would recommend to all !!!!!

We had a lovely time with Capt. Larry! It was a little rough and a tad bit too cold but we had a great time anyway! We could bring our own lunches/drinks which was nice! Larry had a few soft drinks on board for those who didn't bring anything. It was a great trip out to Looe Key!

I liked the reduced price for bringing our own gear (looking at reviews, glad we did). The boat crew wasn't rude like others said, but maybe not super over the top friendly, but most people working in service jobs we've encountered in the keys are pretty rude & arrogant. Maybe island fever or maybe sick & tired of rude tourists!... More

I felt safe with Larry and his crew. I think they are competent and helpful. I was very disappointed that our second dive was literally moving one buoy farther than where we were. All my past scuba trips, we have gone to two different sites. I also didn't like that they allowed people to smoke on the boat. .

Strike Zone is a scam from start to finish. It may be ok if you have never snorkelled before, if you have never been on a snorkel trip before or if you have never been on a boat before but if you know anything about any of the previously mentioned you may want to consider finding another way to Looe... Incompetent, arrogant and condescending. Do not use this company ! Read the other reviews and you will see a consistent theme. Rude, incompetent, condescending and ...... the engine on our boat broke 10 minutes after leaving the dock !! We booked for an afternoons snorkelling, we are competent snorkelers and have dived on four contingents. These people are condescending and... More
