Bal Harbour is still a beautiful place to visit. The beach, the shops, the restaurants. yet take note, it is not for the budget concious. Nothing in or around the Bal Harbour area will be inexpensive.

This is not South Beach. It is not a "beautiful people" beach. It is for normal people. It is absolutely gorgeous with a fabulous walking path and great sand and palm trees.

Great if you're looking for sun, sand and water! Many hotels have sections of the beach with attendants but even if you're not staying at one of those properties, you too can enjoy. You can walk for miles from the dock in Bal Harbour to the south. We walked, biked, went for a run - all were great! There's no... More

The beach had extensive work done after the storms to repair beach erosion. Just a block south the beach is in poor condition.

I walk on this beach every single day. Safe, beautiful, can ride your bike on the beach path all the way to north-beach in Miami Beach.

There was nothing super special bout the beach. Not too nice looking at low tide. Tough to find parking. Best if you could walk to it. The buildings cast such a shadow, it is best to come early. The same sand as many of the beaches along that coast.

Bal Harbour, FL stretches on Collins Ave from 96st up all the way up to the Collins Ave Bridge; although you can access Bal Harbour Beach through 96st by foot, you can't park your vehicle there. Instead, head up on Collins Ave and as you're approaching the bridge, stay on the outside lane (right lane) and once it turns into... More
