It was nice to see an American mansion furnished with predominately American furniture and antiques. My husband and I loved Winterthur! Put your body on the garden tram and sit to see the entire garden! You can't get a better American-style museum experience than that! Given some of the negative reviews, I was cautious about visiting Winterthur -- but found the experience and the staff to be outstanding. This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and I have been to many historical sites.
