The New Candlelight theater is excellent. The acting is top notch and some of their plays are original productions. The best part for me, however, is the dinner offered before the production. It is a very tasty buffet style dining experience prior to the play. More

We went to the recent opening night of "Miss Saigon" at this neighborhood dinner theater, expecting an OK evening, and that's what we got. Considering its limited budget, the production was OK. I must say I very much enjoyed the opening sequence, with lots of young ladies writhing onstage clad in just bikinis and heels; however, considering the subject matter,... More

If you want a good time to be had by all, go to the Candlelight. A first class dinner theater that's great for 2 or 200. I mean 200. I was the social chair for a group sometime ago and I use to hold our end of the year meeting at the Candlelight. I bought out the house and we... More

We have been season ticket holders for 3 years and are always amazed at the wonderful shows they put on. The talent and energy of the cast ensures a good time & it seems that they truly enjoy performing for us. I was a little skeptical of their doing an original productiion, A Very Candlelight Christmas, but once again did... More

We saw Annie here and that was tremendous on it's own, but we were thrilled when the actors came around to serve drinks! What a fun time! It's in a beautiful, wooded part outside of Wilmington so it's easy to get to. The buffet was great but the one complaint i had was the way the lines went. They actually... More

My husband and I along with another couple have been series subscribers at this theatre for at least four years. The shows just get better and better. When "Annie" was being presented we were joined by our children and grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food on the buffet and then the show that was perfectly presented. The lighting and sound... More

I took my 8 yr. old granddaughter to see the play, "Annie" ~ she's still talking about it ! Although this former barn has been refurbished to accommodate a variety of entertainment, there were no bad seats! Nestled in the woods, there's plenty of signage and parking. What really stood out was the talent -- it was top-notch, and the... More

I've been to several of NCT's musicals in the past few years and I've really enjoyed them all.NCT has a great buffet of fresh salad and always has appetizing main dishes that include a small variety of chicken, beef and seafood (they always have peel-n-eat shrimp!) and a carving station. Their dessert selection is filled with a variety of delicious... More

Have seen many shows here and "The Full Monty" had me laughing out loud. "Cats" was truly on par with the Broadway version I saw years ago. This treasure in Delaware is THE place to enjoy top notch professional shows at a fraction of the big city price. More
