The tour was about two hours and the ladies working the tour give 100%. They never waivered. I could have used a break, but they never stopped talking and leading us around the mansion. I could have used a water break, but they have to keep you moving because there are five other groups of four going around you, so... More

OK, here is another mansion of the famous Dupont family. This one is really fantastic in that, although there are antiques galore, it is really how the mansion looked when the family lived there. Yes, it is big and flashy, but you it really feels homey, unlike many stately homes. The grounds are beautiful and well worth the stroll. The... More

If you like touring through mansions you don't want to miss this one. I can't say enough good things about this tour. Highly organized and choreographed to have the pleasure of a small group of 4 to 6 with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Albert DuPont left everything in place so you really get the feeling of a lived in... More

My mom choose this as our family event for her 80th birthday. We came from MD & PA. The PA group, which included my mom, didn't make it in time for our tour due to a traffic accident on the beltway. The staff at the visitors center were amazing. The entire day was sold out but they made room for... More

My husband and I visited Nemours on a Saturday. The house is absolutely beautiful, the grounds just as pretty and the story behind the people and mansion intriguing. The visitor center has a wonderful time line and shows a brief movie. The only problem I saw was the way they rushed you through the mansion. Our group was only six... More

The Nemours mansion is like a Christmss wonderland in December! Every room is beautiful and authentically decorated in the style of the Dupont family. As you walk through the mansion, you feel as if the Lady of the house will walk in and offer you tea! The tour was wonderfully narrated and as a lifelong Delaware resident, I learned a... More

This Albert Dupont mansion and grounds were magnificent. It may be the best mansion and grounds of this type we have ever toured. The price is extremely reasonable and the tour staff impeccable. Every part of your tour is well organized and the guides are very informative. We were a little worried when we saw initially there were 42 people... More

a home built for a woman who really did not love Mr. DuPont but he did worship her. Lovely home and furniture. The gardens are a must see. Very impressive. Add this to the to-do list

One of the most beautiful homes I have seen. Mr DuPont was ahead of his time, check out his man cave!
