The punch bowl is always fun to go see. There is a platform to overlook the city and viewing areas to see the punch bowl. It's good to go after a good rainfall if you like waterfalls.

Without recent rain, the waterfall is pitiful but after a downpour, it's much better to look at. There's also a great view nearby.

Good place to go for an afternoon stroll, a hike or just to check out the view. Its well worth going down into the Punchbowl area itself if you are able, but the paths are long overdue for fixing and can be difficult depending on the conditions.

Its a short walk to the fall. My bf and I went on dec4. Weather was good and the punchbowl fall was magnificent!! We got a bit when standing on the lookout point!!! Must see when you pass by Arthur's Pass!!

we visited this after some heavy rainfall, so it was in full flow. Heard some great stories about this place from our guide

This is an amazing little waterfall off the beaten track. There were not many people here when we went, and if there is one waterfall to see in Hamilton this is definitely it! Off to the left side of the falls, not too far from the parking lot there is a small trail marked through the woods where you can,... More

There is such a beautiful view of the city from here. No matter if it is day or night. Been many times and will take visitors as well.

Don't say you weren't warned! I was just there and there was zero water flow. And then I asked someone there and they said it was often like that. And this is also what Wikipedia said. The formation itself is interesting to look at, just don't expect it to have an actual waterfall unless you ask the locals ahead of... More

pay parking is out of order, the machine eats the Money, but no one gets the ticket, very bad for a tourist attraction...it is a beautiful place though, just to bad there is no waterfalls right now. Needs bathroom facility badly, Phone # and signs indication a few km before the attraction

Gorgeous view and perfect place for a fall hike! Bring camera and wear running shoes. Mid October would be gorgeous!
