If you go to Rehoboth, visit Browseabout Books! Local bookstores have a tough go of it these days, and this is a great one not to be missed. Friendly staff, very good selection of books, including lots of obscure ones, and many other items like toys, games, gifts and a very nice coffee shop.

A combination of a traditional bookstore (remember those?) with a coffee bar, and various small gift and décor items. Knowledgeable staff. Have Delaware and Staff Picks selections. Best sellers are reduced price. Locals and tourists frequent. Some used books. Pretty much THE place for books in the Rehoboth-Dewey area. There is a smaller book store in Bethany Beach.

Nice local store to browse about. They have a limited assortment of books but also sell magazines, newspapers, cards, gifts, coffee, candy, lotions, etc. - think book store/gift shop. Centrally located right on Rehoboth Ave. about two blocks back from the beach. I have found that I can usually save substantially by purchasing books in hardcover from Amazon or Kindle.... More

The book store sells not just books, but cards, knick knacks, & games. I also really like their employee picks. They have a really nice selection and the staff is very helpful.

With so few bookstores remaining, this one is a treasure. While the children's section is a little limited, the toys are a hit. My son loved going in to check out the trucks.

The Eastern European women who man the cash register are courteous. But the owner (a big, older guy) has a real attitude problem toward customers. This morning, I politely asked him a legitimate question, and he sassed me. I tried again, and he sassed me again. Wow. No excuse for that.

I have always loved this book store. It is jam packed full with aisle upon aisle of books, gifts, cards and games. I especially enjoy the many shelves of staff picks and appreciate their committment to local authors and books which they highlight regularly in the front of the store. I noticed recently that they also stock used books which... More

Being a veteran of many, many trips to OC and Rehoboth over the years, this place is one of those "gotta stop here every single time" kinds of places. Even in this era of digital books and chain bookstores and Amazon, it's really quite nice to find a nice, quiet independent bookstore that has been at the beach since the... More

We loved discovering this wonderfully stuffed bookstore with great gifts and shelves crammed with books too. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing slowly through the maze of this store.

When I visit Rehoboth Beach, I always make the time to go to Browseabout Books. The name of the store can be deceiving because they offer more than books. There are toys, many of which are educational and can't be found in "regular" toy stores. There are greeting cards, puzzles, games, etc. I always leave the store with at least... More
