It's not a vacation to me without a stop at a local bookshop- Browseabout Books fit the bill perfectly! They're a bookstore/giftshop hybrid, with beachy gifts, quirky tees and a great selection of books with lots of staff recommendations. The staff was helpful, and immediately gave my pick a thumbs-up, which made me more excited to read it. This shop... More

We cannot visit Rehoboth without a stop at this store. It is so much more than just a bookstore and in these days of disappearing bookstores, this is a great find. One side of the space is devoted to beach-related goods, such as greeting cards, knickknacks, etc. You can find some interesting things there. The other side is the bookstore.... More

If you're a reader, you need to visit Browseabout on your first day in town. This is an independent bookstore that's been here for a good long time. Your book is HERE, not in the outlet mall, you hear me? Be sure to check out their local interest section if you like to read about where you are. It's the... More

Broweseabout is an institution in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Wonderful independent bookstore that's been around since the 1970s. Great selection of books, lots of gifts and toys, cafe, etc. Friendly staff and a fun place just to hang out for awhile.

While cramped and crowded on a busy day, nothing compares to this store's selection of books or the connected Cafe. Unfortunately, they have few spots where you can actually sit down and READ a book.

This store not only has a wide variety of books, but also a great selection of local interest material. But more than that, they have toys, unique gifts, stationary, and if that is not enough, you can relax with fresh brewed coffee or tea. An oasis at the shore.

There's a nice selection of books, including local interest, but this store really shines in the giftware and stationery lines. Just a short walk from the boardwalk, it's a great place to shop when you're tired of the sun and sand and don't need any typical beach resort souvenirs. I got greeting cards and books, after a pleasant browse around.

If you go to Rehoboth, visit Browseabout Books! Local bookstores have a tough go of it these days, and this is a great one not to be missed. Friendly staff, very good selection of books, including lots of obscure ones, and many other items like toys, games, gifts and a very nice coffee shop.

A combination of a traditional bookstore (remember those?) with a coffee bar, and various small gift and décor items. Knowledgeable staff. Have Delaware and Staff Picks selections. Best sellers are reduced price. Locals and tourists frequent. Some used books. Pretty much THE place for books in the Rehoboth-Dewey area. There is a smaller book store in Bethany Beach.

Nice local store to browse about. They have a limited assortment of books but also sell magazines, newspapers, cards, gifts, coffee, candy, lotions, etc. - think book store/gift shop. Centrally located right on Rehoboth Ave. about two blocks back from the beach. I have found that I can usually save substantially by purchasing books in hardcover from Amazon or Kindle.... More
