Family visits to Delaware always included a stay at Rehobeth Beach. After an absence of about five years we returned the last week of August for a mid-week stay. Rehobeth has always been a very popular, close to many large cities, and therefore a crowded place. After a storm many years ago they rebuilt the beach area. The bottom was... More

I stayed at the Admiral on Baltimore which was a very nice motel. My disappointment is with the boardwalk and Rehoboth Avenue. I noticed that many of the store fronts are dirty and cluttered. It looks like no one sweeps their store front or the curb. As I walked the boardwalk all three days of my visit I can see... More

The beach wasn't spectacular but the boardwalk was nice. They advertised as family-friendly but I didn't think so. Parking was a nightmare. According to the business community it always is. The city charges you for every parking space they can find and don't even think about not paying. They have people everywhere checking the parking receipts. For family-friendly check out... More

The beach is nice with its soft clean sand and warm breeze. We had our own umbrellas, but I noticed there were people you could rent umbrellas from. It seems to be a popular destination, judging by how crowded it was. The only thing I didn't like at all was the complete absence of changing rooms.

Lots to do in the Rehoboth Area, for both kids and adults. Love the area and will be returning next year. We are even adding another day to the trip as 4 days was just not enough.

A lovely beach, and great for an all-day destination since the boardwalk area has plenty of restaurants, etc. Gets more crowded than the nearby Dewey Beach.

Beautiful sandy and very clean beaches. Definitely crowded but pristine. The boardwalk was your typical shore boardwalk with tee shirt places but the shops on the main drag are fun and quite reasonable. Some nice jewelry stores. Prices are great.

I hadn't been to the beach in years and it was my husband's first time. We are Cape May, NJ fans but looking at Delaware for retirement. We entered the beach at Maryland Ave/ The Beach was really crowded but clean. Retired friends tell me that they go around 4 in the afternoon for their happy hour :-) .Public bathrooms... More

Go during the middle of the week if you can. The beach is in excellent condition, and many will be pleasantly surprised by the no smoking policy given that the beach is south of the Mason-Dixon Line. It gets very crowded as the weekend approaches though, so alternative times would be ideal if possible.

Not good for me because I do not like crowded and expensive beaches. It was however clean, well organized and a nice place to walk around. I would not stay there for the week as it would cost an arm and leg.
