The boardwalk has showers at the beach exits to rinse off sand and heat. This beach is clean, and if you go early you can see the dolphins. We even saw a few whales.

The beach at Rehoboth was sunny, breezy, and very busy. The large crashing waves only enhanced the relaxing experience. This is also a super spot body surfing and "people watching"! We were surprised to find it so crowded for this time of the year!

This was my first time to Rehoboth beach, and relying on previous TripAdvisor reviews, knew that it would be best to leave home early for our three-hour drive. It paid off, as we found excellent parking right on Rehoboth Avenue less than a block from the boardwalk at 9:30. We fed the meter, and then were delighted to see that... More

Cold water, crashing surf, steep beach. We prefer southern beaches. The boardwalk was a nice touch. People watching was fun.

We visited on a day that was only just above 70 degrees. However there was still, plenty going on. The beach was busy and there was music playing on the Boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and very reasonable souvenir T. Shirt type shops. A family area with all kinds of things to do. The surf was good and the beach well patrolled... More

Rehoboth Beach isn't huge. But it has real restaurants and very few chains. If shopping is your thing, the area ~ 3 blocks by 3 blocks has a good variety, ie not a T-Shirt shop every 2 stores like OC features. Small interesting cafe's, and a less rowdy (drinking) crowd appeals to those with families. The downside is with fewer... More

We go every year never overly crowded. The locals are friendly and always willing to offer suggestions for good eats, or things to see and do.

Rehoboth Beach is a great beach town and beach. The beaches are long and sandy. It's not unusual to spot dolphins from shore - if you're lucky they may be flipping out of the water, tail slapping, or swimming in close to the beach. The town has just the right mix of beach town flavor without going over the top,... More

I grew up on the shores of RB; spending countless hours in the surf and on the sand. The beach is land-locked and nowadays, traffic is just horrendous. You need to arrive early; find a parking space; shell out about $15 in quarters (10 hour max) and find your spot on this vastly crowded beach. It's a trendy spot these... More

We traveled on a Labor Day Sunday, no traffic, very easy driving on Rt 50 East, then it becomes 404. The views start right when you start passing the Bay Bridge, after that, the terrain becomes very flat and green, mostly farmlands. Many of this farms offer their products on little shacks or stops along the road. Huge tomatoes, peaches... More
