I love Rehoboth Beach, and visit as often as possible. Typical for any beach in the summertime, Rehoboth is very crowded during high season. If you can't book a place in town, and must park your car, I do recommend getting the daily or weekly parking pass--or use the shuttle bus from the lot across from Jungle Jim's on Rt... more

Looking at other reviews here, I do believe that the way Rehoboth Beach parking division treat tourists, they don’t seem to need our business, even though when I was there, I found business was quiet… their parking division just don’t care! Our first time visiting Rehoboth Beach on September 1st, 2009, we firstly stopped to shop at the outlet store... more

We enjoy our beach vacation to Rehoboth very much. This year was our second trip and we learned the following that you might find helpful. The visitor's center pushes on the buying the $8.00 parking ticket for the outlying streets. $8.00 is a good deal -- but the parking is a pain. The streets that are available for "non metered"... more

Rehoboth Beach is very clean and nice place to go. The boardwalk is wonderful and the town area at the beach is the best! Just sorry we didn't have more time to spend there. Stayed at motel close to outlet shopping so experience staying at motels on beach. Would recommend going there..... more

Okay, we hadn't been to Rehoboth Beach for two years but one evening in mid-September we drove in from where we were staying in Lewes to spend the evening at dinner and walking the boardwalk. We pulled into a parking space and were surprised to see no meters. Great, they pulled them for the season! Uh, no. Three hours later... more

Parking is extremely poor, so if you are coming for a day trip, you may want to think about a Jersey Shore or elsewhere which having parking lots. There are only metered spots, which are nearly always full. The boardwalk is small and nice, but many Jersey boardwalks like Wildwood or Ocean City are larger. The beach is also quite... more

I have been going to Rehoboth Beach since 1965. I am now 41 yrs. old. My kids are the 4th generation in our family to have their vacation there. the beach is beautiful and clean as is the boardwalk. The hotels are quite nice also. Rehoboth has become part of our family history. My children relive the stories they grew... more

Rehoboth beach is a quaint seaside village with many small boutique shops and an old-fashioned wooden boardwalk. Dolles famous salt water taffy and caramel corn is a prominent site along the boardwalk and it is certainly worth a try. The beach was nice, although a little rocky and quite crowded in July. Part of the beach is lit during the... more

I loved the boardwalk. Lots of families riding bikes, but best to do this early in the morning before it gets crowded. The beach was also crowded so you need to stake your claim first thing in the morning or you'll have to walk a ways to splash in the ocean. Lots of people leave their chairs and umbrella on... more
