This is a large boardwalk good for people watching, picking up a snack, or doing a little souvenir shopping. There is usually a nice breeze from the water and you can sit on a bench or walk on to the beach. You need to bring plenty of quarters or have a parking app on your phone. We had no trouble... More

We visited Rehoboth Beach for the first time this summer and *really* enjoyed the outstanding public boardwalk. Marvelous weather, mostly great food, + terrific opportunity to stroll and people watch. Free live music concert running. We ate frozen custard and I took my 3.5-year-old son on dozens of amusement park rides, all for less than $40. Boardwalk prices = quite... More

A lovely little boardwalk along the beachfront of Rehoboth in Delaware. It stretches about a mile of actual boardwalk, though the attractions are more central. Beware parking at high-traffic times... you might find yourself sitting in your car for longer than you're actually strolling along the boardwalk. And don't forget quarters for parking meters! Enjoy Funland and stop to get... More

Walkers beware~! Bicycles on the boardwalk in the mornings so keep your head up and beware the little ones just learning to ride. Walk the length of the boardwalk then return on 1st avenue for a bit of piece and quiet.

The Rehoboth Beach boardwalk has something for everyone. You have the famous Ice Cream Store, Nonna's Sweet Treats, Candy Kitchen, or Kohr Bros. if you want something sweet. You have Thrasher's French Fries, Grotto Pizza, and various funnel cake stands if you want something salty or fried. You have the souvenir shops and the quaint mom-and-pop stores offering handmade items.... More

This place is quiet compared to OC which is fine by with my family, there's lots to do and see. The kids loves the rides and games at Playland.

The Rehoboth Boardwalk is a pleasure to experience because it has a little bit of everything. Amusement for the kids, eating establishments, ice cream, pubs and arcades. It's a total family experience. For the elderly and disabled, there are lots of benches on which you can sit and people watch.

I really like the boardwalk and little downtown in Bethany Beach. However, parking is ridiculously expensive. Parking spaces are hard to find, and parking meters charge 25 cents for just six minutes.

Nice way to burn off some calories (and purchase more). Same honky-tonk you'd find in many other places, and same ice cream, taffy as you'd expect. If you've been to the Santa Monica pier, there really aren't any East Coast boardwalks that measure up.

So family friendly and fun. You can ride bikes until 10 am in season, and there's a great bike rental place (Atlantic Cycles) near the northern end. Great fast food choices and happy hour specials all along the boardwalk, but meander a few blocks inland for the best high quality food choices. And don't forget a trip to Funland at... More
