We have spent several vacations at Dealware Seashore |State Park and have seen it evolve over the last few years into a first class state park facility. Bridge construction is done but park facilities construction continues. Now first, state parks in general don't try to compete with "resorts". That's not their mission. So judging facilities and amenities need to take... More

We went two times during the week and once on a weekend day. More crowded on the weekends. Bathrooms/showers are available at the main building- the concession stand was closed for the season. We were so looking forward to having a lemonade! Will definitely go again. The price is good too- $8.00 per car for out-of-state. We took out own... More

We intended to go to Rehoboth Beach but the town was packed and we couldn't park. You need a parking pass to park anywhere in the area, so we were going to bail, but on our drive out of town passed a sign to this beach (go in at Towers Road). $8 for the car, and you're all set -... More

We just camped here over Labor day weekend 2014. We stay in a tent by the inlet. Our family had four sites together. The ground is sand and the lot size was fine. No trees so you might bring a canopy for shade. Short walk to the beach under the new inlet bridge. The bridge has a nice blue glow... More

If you are looking for shade and grass sites this not the place for you. How ever. If you want sun and sand and a short walk to the beach then this is the place for you. It offers primitive and full hook-ups sites. Lots of local restaurants, guarded beach , fishing beach with in 2 miles. It is located... More

Nice location to beach and inlet. Close to Bethany Beach and Ocean City Md. RV sites are a bit small and it's hard to park you vehicle. They redid the tent sites but they really should have redone the RV sites.

I camped there for 10 days in August and while the campground per say isn't remarkable, the proximity of the beach more than made up for it. It takes less than five minute to walk in order to get to the beach. Sanitary installation and kids playground were more than satisfactory. I would recommend this place to whoever wish to... More

Driving by it is not the prettiest campground in the world but what is lacks in things like shade it make up for in being able to walk to beach or the inlet for fishing. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Will be back next summer for sure!

I'm having trouble combining the two separating experiences at the same park into one review. The beach was beautiful: white sand and dark green-blue ocean ahead of you, sand dune and scenic bridge behind you. It was windy, so we were blasted with sand anytime a gust picked up, but on a more tranquil day the experience could be near... More
