4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014 NEW

I camped there for 10 days in August and while the campground per say isn't remarkable, the proximity of the beach more than made up for it. It takes less than five minute to walk in order to get to the beach. Sanitary installation and kids playground were more than satisfactory. I would recommend this place to whoever wish to... More

Driving by it is not the prettiest campground in the world but what is lacks in things like shade it make up for in being able to walk to beach or the inlet for fishing. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Will be back next summer for sure!

I'm having trouble combining the two separating experiences at the same park into one review. The beach was beautiful: white sand and dark green-blue ocean ahead of you, sand dune and scenic bridge behind you. It was windy, so we were blasted with sand anytime a gust picked up, but on a more tranquil day the experience could be near... More

Visited this park on a Monday. It was super quiet, which made it relaxing. Parking was 8 bucks due to us being out of state. No biggie. It was nice to have the showers and bathrooms so close. The beach was pretty clean. The bathrooms were gross- I blame the visitors for this. Some people are disgusting and don't care... More

The park is nothing to look at from the highway, it looks sparse with absolutely no trees for shade and the spots look tight. Once we made it through the express check in (easy peasy) and found our spot we were surprised at how quiet and nice the place is. Sure the spots are not spacious, but we have not... More

we stayed overnight, needless to say privacy was 0, and construction didn't help at 8am, and you can't make a fire..BUT the beach was amazing, and that beats all else!

After going to the crowded beaches by the broad walk, the Delaware seashore is a blessing. Beaches are clean, we like to stay by the fly fishing areas, which usually calm and quiet. The only cost is parking.

The beach at Delaware Seashore State Park is a welcome contrast to the busy, concession-filled beach area in Rehoboth. There are lifeguards, there is a concession area, there are bathrooms and showers (bring your own soap and shampoo) and you can rent umbrellas -$12 - and chairs - $5- at the entrance to the beach. The beach was a beautiful... More

This campground is about 7 miles south of Rehoboth Beach at the south end of the bridge. It's right on the Indian River Inlet with a 5 minute walk to the ocean front. Looks like all the RV sites are pull through. Also has tent camping and camp store. Lots of people catching fish on the banks of the inlet.... More

My family recently stayed at the newly renovated Delaware Seashore State Park campground at the Indian River Inlet. While we certainly enjoyed and appreciated the renovations the new bathhouse bathrooms/showers had an unpleasant surprise. There were security cameras inside the new bath houses both in the bathroom and shower areas. I was fine with the outside security cameras, but the... More
