To call this place an institution would be a disservice. It has been a Rehoboth Ave fixture for years and for some, a step back in time. I love going there to discover candy and treats from my youth. My wife goes for the chocolate, and only the chocolate. My kids go for whatever we are willing to pay for!... More

If I am in town and in search of candy, Snyder's is where I usually turn. I like supporting a non-chain local business. The owner is almost ALWAYS present & super friendly. I have always gotten great service! Prices are OK. They have a nice selection of candies, gummies, taffy and chocolates. This summer they are advertising their chocolate bacon... More

They have candy that you can't find most places. They are very friendly. Everything is fresh. They have lots of other items besides candy that you can give as gifts - like stuff animals, lunch boxes, current characters, containers to put candy in for gifts, etc.

By far the most extensive collection of licorice candy from around the world that I have ever seen. The staff was extremely knowledgable and could not have been more accommodating. If there is a candy that they don't have - then it must not be made any more. This place is a must stop on every trip we take to... More

Stopped in the other day looking for candy for Christmas. I asked the clerk if they had any of the traditional Christmas candy. He answered just ribbon candy and then walked away and started rearranging a shelf in the front of the store. End of conversation, no discussion, no ideas on alternatives. I was extremely disappointed, drove 20+ miles and... More

Stopped here when visiting friends in DE. Owner, Jeff, was very kind, patient (as we "drooled" over almost every kind of candy on display) and he was happy to be working here. My favorite candy, not seen/tasted since I was 12 years old (a looong time ago) was right there in his shoppe. I asked about shipping and he suggested... More

While Rehoboth Beach has a lot of candy stores Snyder's is by far the best. In all my years of going to the beach I would have never believed that one salt water taffy could be so much better than the other, but at Snyder's the taffy is by far the best. Not only can you chose the flavors you... More

They have the BEST candy in all of Rehoboth Beach. Friendly service and candy you can't find most places. Ones that we grew up with as a child. Nice memories. Thanks Snyder's.
