This bike trail connecting Gills Neck Road in Lewes to Glade Road in Rehoboth was created using an old railway path. It is a mostly shaded, peaceful, flat path abundant in wild life making the ride between Rehoboth and Lewes Surprisingly easy!! There are even boardwalk overlooks in the wetlands. I would caution those biking with children that the connector... More

The 17 mile loop is beautiful flat & enjoyable. The new section in Gordon's Pond with its marshes, birds & bridge is wonderful. The best way to see Delaware in all it's beauty. Rent a bike or take a walk. Don't miss this.

One of the best trails in the world! And I come from Pittsburgh were there are many bike trails....Its like being in a different world, not like most of the hair raising high way bike lanes or the crazy traffic lanes in town of Rehoboth....good for kids/nervous bikers! DO IT!

It's great that they have opened this trail in recent years and have kept it maintained beautifully! It's about a 20 min ride each way and it's mostly shaded so even on a hot day it's not a bad ride!

This trail is made over an old train rail bed and the scenery is beautiful. Very quiet, very lovely and opens to views of the Rehoboth wet lands.

the trail connects Lewes and Rehoboth beach along the trail of a formerly railway between those towns. it passes fields, marhes, forest and open areas, 10 miles long. it is very pleasant, nearly flat trail inviting youo to go through.

Quiet piece of biking heaven from Rehoboth to Lewes, navigating stunning wetlands, tree-ceilinged paths and crossing untrammeled roads--a joyful retreat from the beach bustle. Tremendous bonus….the brand new Cape Henlopen State Park bike trail is open--a 3.5 mile paved loop trail through the park. The loop offers various branches that lead off into the marshes with wide vistas of the... More
