We went on a family trip aboard the Thelma Dale V to see whales and dolphins. It was surprisingly great! We saw dozens of dolphins - mostly in groups of two or three, but once in a group of about ten. Then, we followed a humpback whale off OC, MD for an hour or more. It was great -t he... More

Bought a groupon for this place for a 4 hr fishing charter (GROUPON BEWARE) for my dad for a Fathers Day present. Reserved this beginning of August (YES I TALKED TO A LIVE PERSON) as I was coming in to PA the weekend after labor day to visit from FL. Now LEWES DE is about a 3 hour drive south... More

We chose to go on a Dolphin tour instead of taking my 8 and 5 year old daughters fishing, and it seemed like the right choice! It was set to be a 2 hour tour, but it ended up being almost 3 hours which was just fine with us! We had a nice trip out, saw about 12-15 dolphins, and... More

I purchased the dolphin and whale watching tour at Fisherman's Wharf via Groupon. Our tour was at 1:30pm on a Sunday and we were told to arrive 30 minutes prior to sail time. On arrival we checked in at a little shack that resembled a bait house, and proceeded to the end of the pier where our vessel ,the Adventurer... More

After purchasing a 1/2 day fishing trip for 2 on Groupon, I became concerned after reading reviews. I attempted to make reservations 2 days before the trip. I called twice & left a message. I never received a return phone call. This concerned me because the Groupon stated that reservations were required. We decided to go out early on a... More

We called two days in advance to make a Groupon reservation and had no problem. The boat departed about on time. You should bring food and drink with you although they do sell some aboard. Get there early and sit up front. We saw several pods of bottle nose dolphins and they actually race the boat. It is really something... More

I bought a Groupon for a dolphin and whale watching cruise for my three grandsons (ages 8, 10, and 15). We took a three hour cruise and saw what seemed to be 100s of Atlantic bottle nose dolphins or the same 25 four or five different times! Doesn't matter which because it was very exciting to see them. We even... More

Two of my aunts, two of my cousins and I took the 3hr dolphin/whale watch cruise on 7/12 at 1:30pm. The boat was late to leave (2pm) because they were waiting for people stuck in traffic. If you get seasick easily then you will want to take Dramamine. The ocean wasn't rough by any means but you do feel the... More

We took the 9:30 Dolphin Watch on a Weds in early July. It was a fabulous trip. We found every aspect of dealing with the Fisherman's Wharf Cruises to be terrific and thoroughly professional. We called a few days in advance to reserve our spots-- the reservation was waiting when we got there. They charged a discounted price for our... More

Took the 3 hours whale/dolphin watching trip and had a lot of fun with the great swells which made our fishing boat bounce around while out in the ocean current...not for the queasy un-medicated folks...so if you are easily seasick you should take 2 dramamine or other meds of your choice....yes we saw lots of dolphin!! At least 2-2 1/2... More
