My boyfriend and I stopped here before heading to lunch in Rehobeth. It was smaller than they previous two wineries we'd visiting at that point. The lady pouring the samples was pleasant but seemed slightly bored. It was the off season and very slow. We enjoyed our tastings and left with a bottle of Rose. I can't speak to the... More

My wife and I stopped by here on our way from Georgetown to our hotel in Rehoboth Beach. The grounds are very lovely, and the facilities right off of the parking lot. We tasted 10 wines and found a few to our liking. Very friendly staff, and our tasting fee of $10.00 per person was waived as we bought two... More

We were looking for something to do on a chilly November day, and chose to give this winery a try based on the reviews. We love red wine, particularly from California. While the wines here can't compete with California, we give it 4 stars because the wines are better than a number of other east coast wineries we have visited.... More

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day at the beach. Whenever I take one of my road trips, I look for wineries in the area. This was my boyfriend's first winery experience. He really didn't think he would like it, but he went because I asked him to. Well, he soon changed his mind. Even though... More

The tasting area was full when we arrived, it's fairly small but in 5 minutes or so it opened up. They offer a tasting of 6 wines of your choosing for $5. Our tasting was fairly quick, with a little humor and perhaps towards the end of someones day. I found it to be educational, she made an effort to... More

We traveled 2 1/2 hours and entered the winery at approximately 4:42 pm. They close at 5:00 pm. The tasting counter had approximately 8 people already being served. We stood there waiting for the server to acknowledge us but she was too busy socializing with the customers who had already been there for an hour doing their tasting. Finally at... More

We were staying in Lewes, DE and the weather turned cold and rainy. Not a good beach day. Decided to check this place out. Getting there was a little dicey because we had to cross 4 lanes of congested beach traffic, but once across Rt 1, it was less than 5 minutes to the Vineyards. The first few parking spots... More

After visiting friends in New Jersey, my wife and took the Cape May-Lewes Beach ferry instead of I-95 to start our trip back home to North Carolina. As she likes to browse the shops in the area , we take this route from time to time. Apparently she was talking to one of the other guests at the hotel where... More

We had never been to this vineyard even though we had lived in the immediate area for decades. Since our neighbors enjoy wine, we thought this would be a thoughtful souvenir gift from our trip to the beach. So off we went... Once at the vineyard, we parked in front of the tasting room. We saw the sign painted on... More

It takes a certain type of person to deal with the public.......it takes a certain sense of respect and customer service.....it takes a certain level of morals and character. Without these things you cannot make a business prosper. The business becomes stagnant....and just makes due with clientele they already have. It amazes me that Nassau Valley Vineyards has been in...
