I had to check out this place just for the cows! I had the pistachio ice cream and it was good, but didn't blow my mind. We went to look at the cows though and showed up just as a cow was giving birth. It was gross, but really cool. Definitely some suprised entertainment for the afternoon!

The smell of cows is a little strong but otherwise this is a fun place to stop for ice cream. There are lots of different flavors to choose from, including a seasonal selection. We came here twice in one weekend and both times the ice cream was really good.

Ice cream was fantastic with huge servings. Service was very friendly, and there were places to eat inside in air conditioned comfort, or outside enjoying the sun.

How can home made ice-cream be bad? Loved it!!! Great selection! The employees were very sweet and although the lines will always be long, it is not a very long wait.

I am a Lewes resident and know the Hopkins family, who are raising their 5th generation. Right off of Route 9, west of Route 1 in Lewes, Hopkins Ice Cream is the best. The family has created a nice play area, picnic tables, and of course, authentic farm ambiance. You can stroll over to the expectant mothers pavillion and watch... More

If you want a good ice cream cone, this is the place to go near the DE beaches. They've got a good assortment of flavors and they're all good. My son loves to go visit the cows while we're there.

Best Ice cream I have ever had, without question. Rich, great flavor and immensely delicious. There are a multitude of flavors to pick from although not always what's in, i.e. no chocolate moose tracks, etc., but enough to keep you having to make tough decisions on which kind to have. make sure you go when it's hot out and the... We found this creamery while we were visiting Lewes for the day. The ice cream was about as fresh as you can get. Enormous selection of flavors and items to choose from. WE enjoyed the shakes, cones and root beers floats. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They even had a little playground for the kiddies. The only con was... More
