Our tour guide, Dave, was exceedingly knowledgeable about the ship, other lightships, and this particular project. He readily had answers for all our questions, and helped us feel his excitement about the ship and pride in the community for succeeding with this impressive project.

My husband and I went to see a movie under the stars down by the water. There is a playground near by. We totally enjoyed our evening together

We were just able to make the last tour of the day, and I'm glad we did. Our 6 year old enjoyed it as well. It was $5 per adult, and worth it to help with upkeep for the ship. There is also a playground nearby, and free parking.

They were closed when we arrived and it looked like the price for tour were reasonable. But did get to take some nice pics.

The Overfall is a wonderful way to learn the history of the Lighship Service. The boat is beautifully restored and the tour was really fun. I would recommend it for anyone who loves history.

My young boys love this playground. It is a short walk from downtown Lewes and the nice shops and restaurants.

Here you can learn about the use of lightships in the Atlantic- tour the ship and see a life saving cottage from the shore. The ship is in the canal front park of Lewes- a lovely town to visit- many great restaurants and next to Cape Henlopen Park!
