Great way to break up the drive when coming home through Delmarva. Comfortable chairs. Nice crew. Some boats are nicer, larger than others.

I've taken our grandchildren to the Zoo - fabulous zoo, right near Cape May N.J. Taken the ferry over for a business meeting in Atlantic City. We have spent a long weekend in Cape May - many nice B&B's & restaurants. There is an annual summer Wine Festival which is reasonable in price and lots of fun!

Thank you for writing such a nice review. The Cape May zoo is indeed a fabulous zoo. We do offer a Zoo package in the summer departing from the Lewes side. We hope to see you onboard with us again soon! More

Although I think a bridge spanning the 17 miles would make much more sense, I think this is pleasant enough. CONS - very expensive, if you get the small boat - the amenities are slim, you have to worry about there not being enough spots for your car, the crew is not the most pleasant.. PROS all the cons are... More

My family was on a vacation through several states and wanted to add this to the trip. It was a nice treat to sit back and watch the scenery. My 8 year old was, of course, fascinated. We didn't see any of the animals on the website, but, we still enjoyed it thoroughly! $51 for the 3 of us, so,... More

Every summer, we have our choice of travel routes between our home in Richmond VA and our vacation destination of Cape May, NJ. We always start by driving north up I-95, and then take a quarter trip around the Washington DC Beltway, (I-495). At that point, we can either take Maryland Rt 50 (John Hanson Hwy) East, or continue on... More

This is a fun way to get between Cape May and Lewes. However if you are traveling with your car you will want to go online and pay ahead of time to insure both your preferred time and date of travel. Traveling without the car - no worries.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a nice review. We always try to encourage our guests that reservations are recommended especially in the peak season. However they are not required but you are right that they guarantee your vehicle a place on the departure of their choice. Plus its a quicker transaction at the toll booth.... More
