Rode it several times PRICEY WITH CAR AS after the driver they charge per person in car .We feel that's unfair ! Although it is a great ferry etc. TRY the great food on the Lewes side eating outside just takes you away from the world for a while! More

The Ferry is a great way to travel without fighting the traffic, and with food and drinks on board , you can't go wrong. The food is basic, like pizza, wraped up sandwiches, and you can order beer, wine , or mixed drinks. Relaxing and drinking a beer on the Ferry is the best way to go. More

Heading back to CT from VA we missed all of the DC/Baltimore Friday I95 traffic. It saved hours of driving and a relaxing traffic break. Just a note: Plan on traffic and secondary roads approaching from Virginia. More

We take the ferry on our way to the Outer Banks, NC. It is a great way to give the driver a break and let the kids out to strech their legs. The Twin Capes has always been very comfortable with snack bar, arcade, clean rest rooms, kiddie play spot and agift shop. The time always flies by. More

Took the ferry for something different on the way home to New Jersey from a weekend trip to Lewes, Delaware. Saved about an hour and a half time versus driving up to Wilmington on the way back and had a good time just relaxing and watching the waves roll by. The only negative, I though was the price: $40 for... More

I had never been on a Ferry or for that matter a boat in the Ocean. I was nervous, but once we left the shore , I was able to find a lounge chair on the upper deck and instantly became relaxed. The dolphins swam next to the boat and the 21/2 hr long ferry ride was an instant success.... More

Every summer my husband and I take our two daughters on vacation to florida. We enjoy going via the ferry, you miss the whole baltimore-washington dc area when you go this way. We usually take the ferry home to New Jersey. We dont take the ferry when heading south only because of the timing of the way the ferry's run... More

This is a fun way to travel. We relaxed in the lounge and on deck while traveling from Delaware to New Jersey. On this particular trip we saw a whale. The captian pointed it out and slowed the ship down so everyone could see. Very exciting. Can't wait for our next trip! More

We have been on the ferry many times, but it is the only way to go with a motorcycle. There were six couples in our group on the way to the DelMarVa bike week in Ocean City, MD., and the ride was a welcome alternative to 4 extra hours in the saddle and city traffic. Make a reservation, show up... More
