After many enjoyable trips with lovely people we were very disappointed at the reception received from the woman processing our tickets. She was nothing short of nasty. She has a desperate need for an attitude adjustment. Unfortunately, it colored our feelings about the ferry.

Always a fun ride (little costly) sometimes you see dolphins when in season. Nice to walk around the Ferry, most Ferries have comfortable seating and are clean..... If you have the chance, take the ferry, avoid the crazy interstates!!

We took our two young grandsons on the ferry last week while traveling from DC to Southern Jersey. They had a blast! We were able to drive right up and get a ticket without a problem. (It was a Tuesday Afternoon) The weather was great and there were seats available on each level. The soft drinks and snacks are reasonably... More

This is a great way to travel south. Every time we drive to FL we take the ferry. It beats driving threw the Washington DC area. The ferry is very nice although a challenge to get to the upper decks. I do belive there is an elevator. The have a well stocked food court on the upper level as well... More

A fun way to kick off our vacation! Booked our trip online the night prior. $57 for 1 car, 2 adults and 2 kids. Beautiful weather helped make the trip smooth and fun. Saw fish and dolphins! Really nice seating areas inside. TVs, snack bar with lots of hot/cold options, bar/tavern. Staff was friendly and very present throughout trip. Quick/smooth... More

Taking a trip on this ferry was the highlight of our trip. They are very accommodating and when we got stuck in traffic I rescheduled with no problem. When we got there, we were told they held the ferry a bit because of the traffic and we drove right onto the bottom deck! Everyone is just lovely. Though you might... More

What a great way to start a vacation--You truly feel like you are leaving your troubles on the shore. Brought a motorcycle aboard with out any trouble. Had a beer and saw a concert on the grounds while waiting, and saw a super sunset and some dolphins on the way over.

We used the ferry from Lewes to Cape May for the first time. Very relaxing trip. Also saves a lot of time in traffic! I suggest you make reservations in advance during the beach season.

This was my first time as a foot passenger for a day trip from Lewes. My friend and I met the jitney in Cape May, which dropped us off at the center of town and right behind the bicycle rental shop ($12 for the day). We spent most of our day touring the streets and enjoying the gorgeous weather and... More
