More pleasant than I expected and quite relaxing. The weather was in the 50's and rather warm for this time of year. We had a vehicle and they were really efficient at getting everyone parked before the ferry started its journey to Lewes. The bar and food options are nothing special but hey - its a ferry! Would recommend it... More

We had other plans for this day, but, kept seeing the aigns and were having trouble finding anything else due to lack of road signs. So, we chose to do something rather than nothing. I am so glad we did. Wow, is all I can say. Climbed on board and the ridr, rhe scenery which included dolphins playing, and the... More

We've used the ferry to get from DE to NJ before but never stopped to look at the terminal. Imagine our surprise. As well as the obvious gift shop, it sports a bar and you can order food until just before the last ferry. We picked a sunny afternoon and ordered fish and chips. They were excellent. OK, we are... We've used the ferry to go from Cape May to Lewes & Rehoboth often. A nice relaxing ride with great sites. Reservations are a must! Reasonable price for an hour+ ride. They have food & drinks on board.

Wife and I have used the CMLF for years to visit friends who live in Cape May (only 5 minutes away). The latest trip was on New Year's Eve, and we parked the car at the Lewes terminal and boarded as foot passengers (first time doing it this way). We had spent the day before shopping in tax free Delaware... More

My friend and I used the ferry to get from Lewes, DE to Cape May the day before Christmas and returned the day after. In the way over, the weather was very dreary and the fog was so thick we could see nothing out the window. We were afraid the ride would be bumpy due to wind, but it was... More

Best way to get to Cape May and the Atlantic City area from the south if you have the time and money. It's well organized and well run. Since it's winter the schedule is cut back and I think the food service on the ferry is as well. There is a lounge type seating area with t vs, as well... More

My wife and I decided to travel north from Florida to Jersey for the holidays, but were hoping to skip the drudgery of I-95. In searching alternate routes, we happened upon the Cape May-Lewes Ferry and decided to build our schedule around an entrance to NJ by sea. It was absolutely the right choice! The ferry ran precisely on-time. In... More

This is a nice addition to being at DE beaches. Great day trip! Pretty views and occasionally you even see dolphins. Little pricey but you do get the bus into town included. Other tours available. Can tour the Mansions of Cape May.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your June visit. The mansion tours in Cape May are wonderful and so full of knowledge. I'm so happy to hear we were able to help get you there. Hopefully you can come back this summer for another visit and another tour. More
