The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a great way to take your family to two great beaches in one day without the stress of tolls and long car rides. This a great option for those who Love Both New Jersey and Delaware Beaches!

The Cape May Lewes Ferry is a nice outing if you are staying at the Delaware or New Jersey beaches. Pricey if you are taking your car, but cost effective if you are walking or biking. Shuttle Buses are frequent into downtown Cape May and into the Lewes- Rehoboth area, so a car is not necessary.

Great way to short cut the DE tollways. Comfortable ferries, friendly people. Rid can be bumpy or smoothe depending on seas. Great bars at both ferry terminals that we go to (Lewes) even when not taking the ferry.

Our ferry was cancelled due to high winds, and we were contacted with the information, and quickly rescheduled on the next available ferry. Our actual trip was a bit delayed by ice, but that was unavoidable. The trip itself was smooth, and much nicer than driving all the way around.

I have taken the ferry numerous times in both direction. They are very well organized when loading and unloading the cars. There is WIFI available on board plus outlets located next to the tables arranged along the windows. There is a snack shop on board if you need some food or beverages. I love taking the trip. Even in the... More

When going down to Hilton Head Island from Maine, we take the ferry across and stay in Lewes. DE. We were travelling with our two goldens, so we stayed in the car with them. The ride was so calm and the sound of the engines made all four of us fall asleep! Always enjoy the ferry ride.

More pleasant than I expected and quite relaxing. The weather was in the 50's and rather warm for this time of year. We had a vehicle and they were really efficient at getting everyone parked before the ferry started its journey to Lewes. The bar and food options are nothing special but hey - its a ferry! Would recommend it... More

We had other plans for this day, but, kept seeing the aigns and were having trouble finding anything else due to lack of road signs. So, we chose to do something rather than nothing. I am so glad we did. Wow, is all I can say. Climbed on board and the ridr, rhe scenery which included dolphins playing, and the... More

We've used the ferry to get from DE to NJ before but never stopped to look at the terminal. Imagine our surprise. As well as the obvious gift shop, it sports a bar and you can order food until just before the last ferry. We picked a sunny afternoon and ordered fish and chips. They were excellent. OK, we are... Wow! Thank you for you review and taking the time to write one up. My favorite part was the last sentence and I have immediately forwarded to our Food and Retail team for them to read it as well. Now that you know about the terminal we hope you come back for another visit in the near future. Thank you... More
