Just completed the Pirates of Lewes Expeditions trip with our 3.5 yr old grandson. He loved it! It appeared as though the older children loved it even more. The attack by the bad Pirate was fun to watch & certainly fun for the children as they were shot by the pirate 'a water canon while they blasted away with their... More

Took our 7 year old granddaughter on a Saturday morning, She absolutely loved it! They do a lively, active program which keeps the kids involved and interested. And we had a great time, too!

Pirates of Lewes offers the best adventure for children. The children are dressed as pirates and receive a sword, tattoo and face painting. Then off to the pirate ship, they review a map and look for the clues to find the treasure. The kids all receive bags of "treasure." A great water battle is held between a bad pirate and... More

We took our grandkids (ages 3 and 5) on this pirates adventure and we ended up having as much fun as they did! The crew consisted of a friendly captain and his three bumbling mates. A nasty pirate tried to hold up the ship while passengers looked for a treasure. The kids were kept entertained while the captain told the... More

We went here while staying in ocean view Delaware. The children had an excellent time. The adults sit in the back and the captain is very informative of the area. The kids use a map and look for things along the way to the treasure . Once they find the treasure the bad pirate tries to take it then they... More

Need signs from main roadway into marina. The captain is a bit brasen with adults. Small shanty holds costumes for kids. The kids are then directed outside for poorly painted face jobs. Person sat at picnic table and took reservations from her cell phone. I would have expected more for my money. This is not appropriate for kids under 4... More

I took my grandsons on this "adventure" and they had a great time. Prior to boarding, the children are dressed in pirate gear, and given a plastic "sword", a bandana and other "pirate" garb. They are then gathered on shore, and swear a "pirate oath", They then board the ship, with any adults sitting in the back of the boat,... More

We took our 4 and 5 year old girls, and we all enjoyed the trip. The crew kept the kids hustling and entertained. The captain shared some local lore along the way. Some of the jokes went over the kids' heads, but that's for the best. Our girls are still playing with the keepsake items included - sword, eyepatch, earring,... More

We took our 2 and 6 year old on this adventure today. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Both children enjoyed the trip. Adults in the adult seating area did not get wet. Kids get wet but that is part of the fun. The humor was appropriate for the children on board. The... More
