The Agricultural Museum and Village is truly a walk through history for those of us who lived through "the good old days" when lower Delaware was mostly farms and small towns. I believe that all buildings (except the mill) are real, old buildings that were moved to this site. They even have the "smell" of old buildings. The barber shop... More

This museum is a superb educational venue for young and old alike. Providing a wide array of heritage agricultural exhibits - tools, implements, household items, building displays, and animal-support equipment - the "look back" into the lives of our ancestors is clear and complete. A very well done exhibit!! Our congratulations to them on a job well done. You won't... More

After many years of passing by the museum I finally stopped to visit. This museum offers plenty to see and much to learn for it's very reasonable admission fee. Many well planned exhibites both indoors and outdoors. Well worth the couple of hours it will take to all there is to see.

I camp here for NASCAR races. The museum is funded by donations. They have two fund raisers for race fans. The museum is very nice and gives the feeling of old farm life in Delaware. A must see if you have kids

The museum is easy to find, on route 13 next to Delaware state university. Lots of old buildings on the grounds. Close your eyes and you can picture yourself back in that time period. Ther are a lot of interesting things in the museum. And the guides are very knowledgeable and very nice.

We made a visit to this Museum as my husband is interested in all types of agricultural equipment. The museum has a lot to offer showing how things were done years ago. Many out buildings including a church, woodworking, milling, a cider press and a little school that will remind you of the school on "Little House on the Prairie".... More

She was so informative every time we visited, but this time when we visited, she wasn't there. She had great stories about growing up on a farm in MD. She ed usually in the kitchen and did school tours. What happened!?

Hi egartstudios of Chantilly, VA, Thank you so much for visiting our Museum and leaving a review on tripadvisor. We are sad to tell you that the lady in the red dress (we will keep her name private) has become very ill and had to move out of the state to be with her family. We miss her as much... More

Visited this fine Museum/Village on a post-Winter day in Delaware. Transplants from Pa. Saw it before, but joined Public TV station in Philadelphia and noticed they give a discount with your card, so I looked it up and it sounded interesting. By the way, it is cheap to get in anyway. Lots to see/do, great for kids over 8 I... More

The visit to the Ag Museum when the theme is "Farmer's Christmas" it is like your back home for Christmas and the year is December 25,1690. The Museum is decorated with many Christmas Trees, and lots of lights. The best part is taking a stroll through the village and all of the period buildings, like the old Farm House, with... More

engaging. Everyone was entertained! She was well informed and never boring! I also enjoyed the train conductor and his ghost stories. I had the greatest time on such a miserable weather day!
