Loved that we could bring our dogs. It surely is not fancy, yet a block from the beach! Close to everything, the trolley, the beach, the food. Fine for us!

What a great place for a wedding and a vacation. There are plenty of houses and hotels to choose from, delicious foods and tons of beer! We chose Dewey because we have friends with a rental house, but Dewey is great because it's half a mile across, from ocean to bay, you have water all over! Even non beach front... More

Relaxing! Relaxing! Relaxing! Did I say Relaxing? Great atmosphere and people. Close to anything you could ever want. We like the Adams Waterfront hotel for value. Early June is nice long days w/ good rates though water is colder. Mid September is shorter days but great water temp and very comfortable weather.

Nice low key beach area. Dewey beach. The Rusty Rudder is a nice restaurant. Stayed at the best Western gold leaf, so-so hotel. .

Clean, wide and quiet! Nice for the middle-aged crowd that like to be away from the congestion of Ocean City, and enjoy going to the beach for pure relaxation!

Dewey Beach is one of our favorites because of its lack of commercialism: no Boardwalk, no High Rise Hotels, Very Few "Gimmick" Type Stores all selling the same things, and thus, Lots of Peace, Quiet and Calmness to enjoy beach time. Because of its close proximity to Rehobeth, a trolley runs during season transporting those who want to experience a... More

This beach isn't as crowded as the Ocean City beaches, which is good if you want a little space between you and the other beach lovers.

We love Dewey Beach and have been coming to Delaware beaches for over 20 years. We just had the best Dewey Beach experience this Labor Day weekend. We opted to enter the beach from Dickinson Street. There is a stand that rents chairs and umbrellas - the chairs are $6 and the umbrellas are $12 for the entire day. There... More
