It is still small enough to remind you of going to the beach when you were a kid. Clean, well maintained, and just modern enough to keep it interesting. Plenty of entertainment, food, t-shirt shops, ocean to complete the stay.

Bethany beach is a little hidden gem below the busy DE beaches. During the off season the beaches are deserted and doc friendly. Plenty of great dining available from BBQ to Tapas and Sushi We will be back

Family and kid friendly community even during high season. Fewer hot spots than the bigger towns. Bring your own entertainment.

Bethany beach has been rated one of the top 5 beaches in the country based on its clean waters. The beaches themselves are not very wide, so you will find the beaches very crowded during the summer. But spring and fall is delightful. Bethany beach is a quiet town - typically for families with Dewey beach (just north) as the... More

We went there for a 5K run. Great, quaint town on the beach. Will come back here to do some more exploring.

Clean, relaxing and family friendly, Bethany Beach is the place to go if you are looking for a quaint, quiet retreat. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Rehoboth, Delaware, yet close enough for a morning or afternoon shopping trip to the outlets, the Bethany Beach area appeals to those of all ages.

We love Bethany Beach. It's small enough to get to know quickly, and has a nice quiet off-season. The excellent restaurants and attractions are hopping in the main season, and the shops are becoming more upscale every year. Look into the nature centers and the natural paths that abound in the area. They are amazing! The beach is superb! You... More

The little town of Bethany, Delaware is on the East coast between Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. Bethany has one of the cleanest resort towns and a delightful boardwalk and beach. Center stage on the boardwalk is a bandstand with entertainment most every night. All the little shops on the boardwalk, main street and the side streets are... More

Parking can be a bit tough but I would recommend parking on Kent Avenue or one of the side streets without meters and walking. Our family loves the family friendly vibe of Bethany without all the overwintering commercialism and honky-tonk of many NJ, MD and even other DE beaches.
