This library presents just the right setting for choosing books, DVD's or CD books. It's cheery and sedate at the same time. I think much of this is due to the excellent staff. Bethany Beach has made a very substantial invetsment in building one of finest libraries in the Delaware area. Very accomodating staff, free computers available for use in the library, very responsive in getting books that you are interested in, a first class facility. Very popular with the locals and visitors.

Why buy one book when it's easy enough to buy 10? The book sale is a part of our annual visit to Bethany Beach -- great selection of current and older titles. Wonderful library with terrific volunteers.

There is a section within the library especially designed for children -- computers, books, puzzles, DVDs, etc. and Children's Story Time. The teen area is secluced on the other side of the library with plenty of soft comfortable furniture to curl up and read or tables to study. My children use to love to come and get their summer reading books there and loved the atomsphere where they could escape and scope the selection of books throughout the children section.

Good library collection; convenient hours; totally helpful and awesome staff. Their yearly book sale is a must!

We always go to the library when we visit Bethany Beach. You can join for $10 for one month. This allows you to check out 2 items at a time, use the internet, and read the newspapers and magazines. The expanded library is a joy for beach visitors and residents alike. The garden off the children's room is a delight and inspires thoughts of restful days spent with a good book. Lots of activities and performances to suit everyone.
