Lums Pond features 2 intertwining & rolling single and double-track trails - great for the beginner mountain biker. The campground is pretty nice and the day sights are as well. The problem is the pond's poor water quality from algae blooms. There are signs posted not to allow your dog to drink from the pond and to bathe them immediately... More

The campground we stayed at was a real gem. There are 6 electric sites down by the lake that give you a perfect sight to wake up to after a long day of driving.

My husband and I like to ride in the park, they also have a zip line that's a ton of fun. A lot of areas for your pets and barbecue. We have events there sometimes. Horse riding is always fun there.

There is plenty of parking available, a boat ramp, picnic tables, grills and pavilions, a variety of trails that go around the pond. A great location for hiking, kayaking, and picnicking. As this is a state park, there is an entrance fee during certain times of the year.

A very nice State Park with a lot of variety. Walking/hiking, activities for groups, outings, and a very nice large pond for water activities.

I've been coming to Lums Pond since the 70's, so it's been a joy to see all the changes and the way things have evolved though the years. A park entrance fee is charged daily from March 1 to November 30. The cost is $3 a car for DE residents or $6 if your vehicle is out of state. The... More

We stayed in one of two yurt's at the campground. Couple of things to note: when we booked the site, there was no obvious mention that this is a dry campground. We only found out in the fine print on the website (but not on the booking page). Not that it was a huge deal (we were staying there to... More

I love riding my bike at Lums Pond. Each of the 3-trails are marked well. On this day, after 5 miles on the Little Jersey Trail my back began to hurt (from a previous surgery). So, we moved over to the paved roads for a smooth return to our car. Each trail has it's own personality. Little Jersey is for... More

really enjoyed our visit! Walking trails a bit much for replaced and reconstructed knees, but there is a boardwalk available near the nature center.
