Well this is my first review of ski areas that I have been too. First and foremost I have skied all my life, have been out to Colorado and also over the pond in france. I will start with this you get what you pay for! Woodbury is a small ski area but the price for a lift pass reflect... More

My children went snowboarding last weekend for the first time in a few years. While apprehensive at first, the staff at Woodbury Ski was supportive and encouraging and they were sailing down the mountain with ease in no time. The staff is super friendly. The General Manager, Scott, introduced himself and told us of all the new changes happening this... More

Interesting review written by Chandler’s friend, John M. It’s a bad sign when you have to get your friends to write a good review to boost your rating. Don’t let John M. fool you. Chandler is unprofessional and rude. He puts customers in a very uncomfortable position as he begs for tips after he gives a lesson. There is a... More

For Connecticut, Woodbury Ski Area seriously is the definition of east coast snowboarding. The rope tow is not only a superb way of transportation up the hill, but also a great way to define those biceps that those ladies love. Not to mention the ski resort is under new management of some cool dudes. To sum it up, if you're... More

These guys make it like no one else! Skied at Woodbury yesterday, November 21st. Snow quality was superb-- like being at Vail in mid-Feb (really!). What the mountain lacks in apparent vertical drop, they make up for with soul and heart. The new management team of Scott and Chandler, carrying forward the vision of previous owner / ski industry legend... More

Woodbury's unique, creative approach to a snowboard/free skiing terrain park is just loads of fun. With quick and easy access to a fast rope tow a person can easily achieve 100+ hits on a single feature. The park is usually littered top to bottom with jumps, rails and corrugated tubes of all different sizes. Lastly the on hill park staff... More

I went and separately friends or mine went and we all got injured. The lanes are poorly designed for we flew off of our lane into the ice below. Our friend got knocked knocked over and hit her head because all the lanes end in the same place for a tube from a different lane crashed into her.

My sister went off trail and dislocated her hip took 20 mins for staff help to arive at scene of incident and I as a nurse was interogated by owner who was mad that I had called 911. He wanted my sister to be moved so... More

I bought a gift through grupon hoping that my mom could try ziplining for the first time. We got there and the girl working the front desk was helpful in directing us to the ziplining area. When we got up there it was all downhill from there. There was not enough people working to assist everyone on the hill and... More
