I was pleasantly surprised by this museum at the Keeney Center. It's simple but has a lot of information about Wethersfield history and a good combination of items, exhibits and text. We read about Westfield and the museum in the UK and when we travelled over on holiday we visited. I have to say I have never met a more friendly and genuinely nice group of people. The Wethersfield Museum is a great site depicting many exhibits for all ages. At the current moment, the exhibits on display are: Love Letters and Uniforms: Wethersfield During the Civil War, Wethersfield Weddings: Tying the Knot, Wethersfield Service Men, and Legendary People, Ordinary Lives. We were looking forward to visiting the museum, but when we came into view of the volunteer, we got the distinct impression that he was put out by our appearance. Our sincerest apology for inconveniencing you!!
