We book our granddaughters for overnight visits coordinated with the Earthplace childrens program. We love the staff on the reading day which is a book that is related to a real animal to be brought out. The facility is clean, easy to roam and the kids love it!

We took our grandchildren (ages 2-5) on a nature walk/scavenger hunt through Earthplace recently and what a surprise we all had. I've lived in Westport for 25 years, yet this was my first visit. The pastoral setting just off the Post Road is truly amazing. The little ones had a blast particularly when visiting the animals who are sheltered there... More

Fun and educational for the whole family. Another Westport institution. Go for specific programs or for a picnic lunch outside on the lawn.

Have been many times. With kids I babysat and my grandson. Have always wished that the animal supply was more plentiful. But to their credit they are constantly improving. Also like walking the trails.

We attended a special viewing of the documentary "Gasland 2" at Earthplace. It was the first time that we ever heard of this wonderful natural spot in Westport. The programs they present focus on the environment and nature. The one we attended holds a special interest for us. We entered into the building and saw one of the most beautiful... More

Earthplace is just a great place to drop into for a weekend hike coupled with some lessons on nature. The indoor space is really good for younger kids - and the trails outside are perfect for burning off a little energy!

We are privileged to have this wonderful place around the corner from our home. A little getaway from the daily routine and nice paths to walk on to visit nature and animals. We have also acquired their help with injured wildlife in the past. Nice walk to and through their trails many times. Recommended for everyone!

Animals and great play areas and exhibits. Also, a playground and decent hiking trails. Perfect for kids!
