Gouveia Vineyards never fails for a relaxing afternoon. The service is very professional, although they are always very busy! I've seen this vineyard grow and expand considerably over the past ten years, almost becoming a little too commercal for me. Their wines are exceptional, the properties are beautiful, and the views are stunning, especially for capturing a sunset. You can... More

One of the best places to enjoy the beauty of Ct and have a glass of wine with friends and family. The wine is really good and the staff is friendly.

The Vineyard sits beautifully on a hilltop with a million dollar view. Bring your own food, sit inside our outside, either is a great experience. But if nothing else be there to watch the sunset, beautiful. A variety of tasty wines are available for purchase.

Not super fancy like you find in Napa, but more laid back and approachable. Their wine is quite good and the tasting is fun. The setting is beautiful and they let you bring in your own food. Take a picnic and buy a bottle of wine and relax.

We started here on our trip through the Connecticut Vineyards. Are we lucky it was a Tuesday morning or what? Dawn took us through the tasting with much to say about the wines, the grapes and vines, her co-workers, and the owners as well as the history of the vineyards. We had a great time and ended up returning after... More

I hadn't visited in a few years, and found this place has gotten significantly more popular than I remember. While I'm happy to see a local business doing well, the crowds take away from the experience and the service wasn't what it used to be. The Cayuga White is still delicious, and the views are fantastic, so I wouldn't let... More

When we first arrived, the vineyard was so packed that we thought there must be a wedding but were informed that it was just a regular (albeit, gorgeous) Saturday. We had an absolute blast at the tasting and received a complementary wine glass. I enjoyed waking around the grounds afterward and many people brought themselves picnic lunches which we would... My friends and I have been going to this Vineyard for years and we have found that with the increased popularity that the service has been getting very bad. Don't get me wrong...the views are the best! Rolling hillside, grape vines growing, beautiful sunsets! Lots of tables inside, outside (covered and uncovered patios) as well as picnic tables on the... We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. Gorgeous views and a beautiful building for wine tasting or for a gathering of friends and/or family. The tour was wonderful with the owner adding in bits about his family and his heritage; I found it very interesting. The lines were long for wine tasting and for wine purchasing... More
