Since when do people bring children to a bar. This place is now a romper room with kids running all over and dogs too. I saw one woman breast feed her baby while sipping wine. The view is nice. But if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine, this place isn't it.

Family get together with a very nice scenery during sun set. The wines are very tasteful and at very reasonable prices. But you have to bring your own foods and take note "No Drinks of any kind are allowed to bring in". There are tables outdoor and some in indoor you can also enjoy the view on deck. But you... More

Such a pleasant experience at this winery today! The staff was friendly and the vineyard is sooo incredibly beautiful. Very clean inside and out. The wines were very good. A $10 tasting includes the house white, a moscato type wine, a white blend, and a merlot and then you get to pick 1 additional from the list. All of them... More

This vineyard is just gorgeous!! Literally so surprised when we pulled up as we always go to the wineries in Litchfield area.. We were very happy and it was a pretty day and can see for miles! It is larger than most inside so plenty of tables and 2 different tasting areas which is great so you don't have to... More

There's nowhere in CT more beautiful than Gouveia's at sunset. We and our friends brought our own picnic dinner (food is not available at the vineyard) bought a bottle of Merlot, found an outdoor table, and chatted as the sun went down over Wallingford, CT. What a spectacular view--all the way to Long Island Sound on a clear day. Our... More

Breathtaking views, especially in the Fall and Spring and Summer (and lets just throw Winter in too!!!). The place is beautiful. It is so wonderful to see 3 or 4 generations of families gathered at their tables, enjoying a meal together - especially on a Sunday afternoon. You can bring your own food (many bring picnic baskets with appetizers and... More
