Breathtaking views, especially in the Fall and Spring and Summer (and lets just throw Winter in too!!!). The place is beautiful. It is so wonderful to see 3 or 4 generations of families gathered at their tables, enjoying a meal together - especially on a Sunday afternoon. You can bring your own food (many bring picnic baskets with appetizers and... More

My wife, daughter and I went on a gorgeous Friday afternoon for a tasting. I'm not too crazy about the prices that CT wineries charge--usually between $8-$10 for five sips of different wines and you get to keep the glass--but that is the business model in the state. With that said, the wines were unique and we all came away... More

I was meeting a friend in New Haven, and we were looking for something to do on the weekend. (We'd not seen each other for decades.) We decided on a visit to a nearby winery, and wound up at Gouveia. This is a small family operation, but the service is friendly and efficient. You pay for a glass (which I... More

Fabulous place to share food and wine with friends and family. Bring your own food. The setting is great, especially in the autumn. Wine is OK.

Beautiful place & view! I love that you can bring your own food. There is only 2 bathrooms, which my fiancé hates, and its always crowded on weekend. But I still love to go

Gorgeous view! Love the rolling hills and farmland. Stunning. Fun to bring food and buy wine for an afternoon event. Cool place to have get togethers, bachelorette parties and birthdays.

Attended a tasting, they organize tastings under a tent on the half hour. Very organized. The wine was good, a little pricey buy the bottle. Very nice grounds, worth stopping.

Love love love Gouveia! I have been here several times for various occasions! Love their pinot grigio! It's a very spacious place, but the only drawback is that for women there are only 2 bathrooms!!! Their wine is the perfect souvenir from Wallingford! The Fall is one of the BEST TIMES to go because of the beautiful color that you... More

To start...Gouveia Vineyards is the most beautiful vineyard on the CT wine trail. It's really cool that you can bring your own food and purchase their wines. Stay as long as you want and enjoy some time with friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy doing a tasting and getting one of their etched glasses. CT... More
