-The beverage service is not on a timed basis by no means. We work as partners with a handheld computer to send the order to the service bar which from there our partner makes the berverage of choice. When the tray is full the partner delivers the drinks to the seat number in which the patron is sitting. If you... more

Mohegan Sun is a nice casino but service is really bad. They have a new rule that one can only get one drink every half an hour when gambling. So when you receive a drink, the waitress checks her watch and will only serve you after 30 minutes. It's ridiculous. It's worst than when my grandmother got charged $2.50 at... more

First off...this is not a family destination. I never understood why people would take their kids to a casino. If you *are* going to do it, Foxwoods probably has more kid-friendly attractions than does Mohegan Sun. That said, the Sun is among the best gambling destinations in the country. It rivals Foxwoods in size and I think it's laid out... more

This casino by far is the best one in CT, even if you dont like to gamble you can always look around and see the shops and the decor'. We only came to gamble and party on Valentines day weekend. The casino handed out Roses and chocolates to all the ladies. This place is amazing and breath taking. The only... more

My husband and I have been going once a month to either Foxwoods or Mohegan for the last 5 years. We usually stay the night at Foxwoods with a stop at Mohegan for an hour or so. NOT anymore. This month we decided to spend the night at Mohegan Sun and check out their new Casino of the Wind. What... more

This is NOT a review of the Hotel facilties at Mohegan Sun. This IS a review of the CASINO experience there. If you want an opinion of the Hotel, there are plenty of others listed here. Check them out. I stay in Vegas(baby!) & A.C. pretty regularly, and love them(winning trip) and hate them(losing trip) both pretty evenly. I had,... more

The pictures on the casino's site did not do it justice! This place is amazing looking. It also has a different feel than most casinos. It's decorated with lots of natural materials and motifs and you don’t have to go through the slot machines to get anywhere. (You could avoid walking through the gambling areas altogether if you really wanted... more

We went to the concert of Allison Krauss and Robert Plank last night at Mohegan Sun. The concert room, designed as a gymnasium, is not suitable for music concerts. There is nothing in the room to absorb sound which bounces all over the place. The music was pumped into painful distortion -- and feedback -- to the point the singers... more

I arrived on April 7 2008 for a business conference in hopes that I would have had a productive time. From the moment I arrived it went very bad. My company paid for the hotel rooms prior to our arrival. When I arrived they needed a credit card for pre-authorization for incidentals on the room. When the front desk clerk... more
