My girlfriend and I stopped here after a few other south east CT vineyards. The grounds were not nearly as nice as some of the others and the wine was still reminiscent of grocery wine but the staff was much more friendly than the other wineries I visited. If I could have given it a 1.5 star I would have.... More

We decided to take a break from the pool one afternoon and booked a wine tasting. The tour was informative and wine is great. Bought a few bottles to take home. Worth the trip.

This was a cute little vineyard with an obliging staff. The tasting room is not large; it's cozy. The pours were average size but not our favorites. If you're looking for tons of reds...it's not happening here. Being a fan of whites, I was fine with that; my husband...a little less enthused. Still it was worth a stop when hitting... More

Visiting vineyards is one of my favorite things to do for a change of pace from the casinos. Stonington is one of five or six vineyards in very close proximity to the two casinos. It is one of the more established vineyards in the Southeast CT area. The wines are good and representative of CT wines including a popular white... More

If you like wine, this may be the attraction for you. It's a change of pace from visiting casinos and aquariums. Sample the wine and pick your favorite. I like their Chardonney.

The place itself doesn't seem very inviting. It is not so decorated inside-small tables for sitting. This place has you pay for the wine tasting up front (the majority of wineries that we have been too have you pay after). It is kinda annoying to have to pay twice (if you are going to buy any wine). The woman who... More

This very pleasant and quiet vineyard is the perfect last Sunday afternoon in September or any other afternoon stop. The wines were mainly whites and most are "estate" wines, grapes grown on the premises. These are decent wines and they make no claim to be world class but are exceedingly drinkable! We sat out in the brilliant sunshine on a... More

again this was on one of our trips to Buttonwood farms - and we loved the wine tastings here - we bought several wines here - and after the wine tasting we went to the Borough of Stonington it was a quaint old seaport town.

Th staff were friendly and easy going. A full tasting was 10 bucks and included a glass. They had about 6 wines to try which were very reasonably priced.
