Stonington Winery is lovely. The tasting room is beautiful and the wines not bad for East Coast. Very easy access from 95. Pretty country road meanders to winery. You can bring a picnic lunch and buy a glass of wine and enjoy the peacefulness of the vineyard.

All wines made and bottled at the winery. Marvelous Riesling. Grounds are beautiful. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Bring a picnic lunch. Easy access off of I 95.

The grounds are very nice and some recent upgrades make the tasting room much mor inviting and the deck & patio outside are equatlly inviting, However, unless you like the Evelynn Wood speed reading version of a tasting, don't look for Kiley at Stonington. My favorite of her musings was, "I don't like reds really. My parents used to force... More

2nd or 3rd time here. Gets better with age ( like their wine ). Bought bottle of white wine, brought cheese and crackers, and ate/drank out doors near the gazebo. Who could ask for more?

Beautiful drive and grounds. Sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine. Several varietals to taste. Case discounts. The triad rose is a great summer wine.

We chose this vineyard because it is one of the few that offer a tour. Unfortunately the day we were there they did not offer us tour because they were setting up for a wine festival that weekend. I was very disappointed but Ebby was very sweet and apologetic so we will go back and try again for a tour.

Spent a day touring the CT vineyards, after spending a lot of time in the Finger Lakes in NY were the tastings and wines are much less expensive, we found CT to be on the high end. BUT not here, great variety of wines and price range. I enjoyed the wines. The staff was pleasant and helpful, it was our... More

Nice setting and pretty tasty wine but not evident that there is a tasting charge of $12 per person until I went to pay for my bottles and it was added on. Staff person asked us if we want to keep our wine glass. We said no,but assume they would have charged us also.

CT is ideal for growing white grapes and Stonington Bineyards does a great job making delicate white wines. I am usually not a fan of Chardonay but Stonington's is aged in French oak and it mellows the wine to perfection. The Pink Pinot is delightful and a wonderful summer wine. The grounds are beautiful and would make a great setting... More
