recently stopped in with my sister after a lovely breakfast at the Vanilla Bean. They were hosting a 'vendor' fair. Amazing time. The chocolatier stole my sister's heart who is gluten free. Amazing and different gifts. Staff is warm and helpful.

Quietly drove through these parts of New England-CT. En route this spot caught our eye as an herbary garden gift shop we would like to visit in May June time permitting. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and customer service as needed. Beautiful respite. Both men and women in our company who enjoy incorporating more of the "finer qualities in life" recommend... More

I LOVE Martha's Herbary. Lots of little treasures, especially jewelry and scarves and unique clothing. The staff is super nice and helpful. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big box stores. Pomfret is a beautiful little town.

We stopped here as we were driving through to see if there was anything interesting. The outside gardens are sort of pretty, with some neat sculptural wooden things mixed in. They did have a few herbs for sale outside, but not too much. Inside, the building isn't a large inventory of things, but does have a variety of items including... More

This store is located across the street from where we ate lunch, so I stepped in to window shop but ended up with several purchases. The two store attendees were so helpful in my search for some unique gifts. Now I wish I lived closer to the store to buy more items that were unique.

Love this place for it's herbs/plantings/crafts and peaceful surroundings. Being right across the street from The Vanilla Bean is an added plus if you're hungry.

I went late in the season so there were only a few herbs left and on sale. They have a fabulous gift shop which I didn't find overpriced.
