Great theatre with an ever interesting line up of shows. The staff are very friendly and the space is small so every seat is a good one! If you're in town check out one of their shows. You wont be disappointed.

This is lovely space in a converted building on Main Street. There is a great display of Kate memorabilia in the lobby because she summered nearby. Friendly staff. A triumph of small theatre/live music.

They do it all - comedy, music, and drams from the famous to the relatively unknown, punctuated by screenings of Katherine Hepburn films. Go on line to check out the schedule - there is something for everyone.

Beautiful small theater with many shows, mostly musicians. Some Katherine Hepburn old movies during the week. Nice little museum...right on Main Street with eateries. You will love it!

After its 1000 th show, THE KATE has proven itself as a huge success and is here to stay!! This charming venue offers an intimate experience for patrons with talented artists and a very friendly staff willing to accommodate and make your night out a true celebration. Ticket prices are reasonable. Don't miss it!!

My husband and I have had the pleasure of seeing several shows at The Kate. Every seat is excellent in the small theatre, the balcony included. The sound has always been excellent as we have seen several musical acts here, and an excellent sound system is very important! There is a little museum of sorts in honor of Kate. There... More

I read the reviews on this place and all were glowing but I still wasn't expecting this place to be so small. It truly is the size of a school cafeteria but with incredible acoustics. Saw Hammer of the Gods and they were over the top good. When people say there arent any bad seats in the house, they truly... More

Theatre seats approx. 250 and there are NO bad seats. The venue itself is a beautiful renovation of a theatre build in 1911 -- the place was gutted and totally rebuilt inside. The attractions presented here are a nice mixture with something for everyone -- young or old. Lovely museum area focused on Katharine Hepburn's life at her home in... More
