Touch sharks, sting rays, jelly fish, see great exhibits of life that lives only in and around our Long Island Sound shoreline from New York to Massachusetts. Kids can build a wooden sailboat to take home, the seal feeding is very entertaining, as is the Lorikeets that will land on you to feed from a nectar cup you purchased for... More

This is a "must do" with the kids!!! Its affordable with and without the Aquarium access. There is a Plankton net drag that the kids participate in and they find all sorts of plankton in the nets. Crab, shrimp, and clam larvae to name a few. These tiny creatures are easy for the kids to see in the wheelhouse while... More

I loved this attraction. The employees were friendly and very helpful. The sea/water creatures were beautiful and thrilled my nieces. The gift shop had so many items to choose. I plan on going again

Bottom Line: Not the biggest aquarium you'll ever visit but it was nice enough to entertain my 10 yr old for a few hours. Tip: If you go during the summer brace yourself for the endless camps that run through there (or call ahead to see if you can plan around them). I don't know if we just chose a... More

Thank you for your review of the Aquarium. We certainly can understand your frustration with the crowds! As you saw, summer is one of our busiest times, especially for camp groups. We’d love if you’d give us another chance to provide a quieter, calmer visit. We do see a higher volume of guests during the summer months and school vacations,... More

We came here with (2) 7 year old boys, a one year old and a 10 year old girl and they ALL had a great time. The exhibits are just long enough to be informative and interesting but short enough for little attention spans. There's tons to touch and feel. The cafe is a little pricey, but you can bring... Small but good size for small children. It took about 2 hours to go through the aquarium. Exhibits were nice. The kids enjoyed the Jellies exhibit. It was interesting to see the lifecycle.

Really like this aquarium. This was our second trip. They have a bird exhibit that was great. My kids got to feed beautiful birds as they flew freely around us. The movies offered are always great as well. Wasn't loving the employees honestly. I found throughout the aquarium they were not overly friendly or nice. But maybe they were having... More

the exhibits at the Maritime Aquarium are well planned and well executed. It was fun for adults and children and it helped that we went on a slow day. We had three generations there and everyone enjoyed themselves. We watched the IMAX Lemurs movie and that was great too. I highly recommend this place for an afternoon of family fun.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to review the Aquarium! I'm happy to hear that your entire group enjoyed all the exhibits we have to offer :-) Lemurs is such a fun IMAX movie, hopefully you can visit again and check out our newest addition -- Journey to the South Pacific! Hope to... More
