Adults, young and old and children of all ages can enjoy this venue. Definitely something for all. Great location on the water where you can also take a ferry to Sheffield Island or dine in one of the many local restaurants which are within walkin distance. More

The aquarium was very clean (looked new) and well worth the money (AAA discount). They have two touch tanks, seal feeding and IMAX shows. All day parking next to the aquarium is $7.00 and when you are finished with the aquarium leave your car in the parking lot (it is fine) and walk over to Washington Street – restaurants, little... When I was younger, this was the "Maritime Center." I loved it, I volunteered there. Since then, they have expanded it and added a lot more exhibits. For the aquarium, start upstairs, above the seals. It is designed to start you on the "edge" of the water and then progress deeper. The aquarium shows you what is common to Long... More

You can get through this adventure in less than one hour. No other attractions around. Better off going to Mystic Seaportt, which is absolutely great. Alot for your money. More

We enjoyed our trip there and so did our young daughter. However, it's much less Maritime-y than we were hoping for. Seemed to be mostly dinosaurs, actually. We were hoping for more fish. There are some fish exhibits, some seals. But there's a lot of empty space and it seems a little run down in parts. It needs a makeover... More

This aquarium pales in comparison to others I've been too. It looks like a work in progress. One exhibit of fish tanks was not even set up. It felt like walking through a poorly set up fish store. Seals were cool. The IMAX movie also was not as good as expected. We saw In Search of Great Sharks. Theater is... More

Good aquarium..kids really love it. They really do a good job showing the marine life in Long Island sound. The touch tanks also alllow kids to touch rays, small sharks and other marine life. They also have a nice IMax theater. My only negative comment is that it is a bit pricey for what it offers. There are numerous restaurants... More

We went to the Aquarium during school break so it was kind of busy. We went later in the day but the staff was still smiling. Even with bus loads of kids and schools being out in NJ and NY they managed the crowd without a problem. Parking was across the street in the garage. It was only $7.00 so... More
