The Book Barn is my favorite place to go when family comes from out of town. Millions of books on almost every topic imaginable are available. Staff is helpful and can direct you to where you will find which book. If you call before they will tell you if they have the title for which you are searching. If they... More

One could spend days wandering the vast stacks of books. They have literally everything, at excellent prices on mass market paperback. Cats saunter around the buildings. Free coffee inside, and a rare/vintage cased collection. Buy/sell/trade for store credit. This is a town staple and a must see for tourists. Great for families, couples, friends and anyone with a love of... More

This place is nothing like you've ever seen before. It is definitely a must-do if it's your first time in the area and you have any sort of liking for books. They're a huge used book store, but it's an adventure in itself. The way it's set up allows you to wander around the shelves of different genres and pick... More

I love to wander around looking at all the books, and bringing friends here to visit this unique business. Really amazing atmosphere and idea.

The book barn is a charming and unique place to visit for the avid reader. Most soft cover books are $1 and I've never seen a book for over $5. There are multiple buildings filled with books and furnished with couches and seating ( and cats) so you feel comfortable browsing or sitting to read a few chapters. Each building... More

The book barn is definately a fun place to visit if you are a book lover. Loads of charm. I am sure others have written all about the seperate barns dedicated to diffrent catagories of books and the cats stroll around like they own the place, and the huge selection of used books to get lost in. There is also... More

I have been to my share of used bookstores over the years, spanning across several states. The Book Barn, without a doubt, is the absolute BEST used bookstore I've ever visited! I love all the funky buildings scattered about the expansive property. They have resident cats that in my opinion, add to the experience. The amount of books they stock... More

Wow, if you love to browse used books, please stop by one of the many book barn locations. As a mom of a young child, I was looking for something free and fun for both of us. I was not disappointed! While my husband and I took turns watching our son - while he played on the numerous areas set... More
