This is a great beach for a family to visit as there are lots of things to do. First, the beach itself is beautiful. There are a couple of miles of brilliant sandy beaches watched over by life guards. I spent a whole afternoon laying in the sand catching a bit of a tan. For those who need more to... More

Ocean Beach Park is a real great beach. It is costly $18 during the day. But you get a beauifully cleaned sandy beach,a nice view, lifeguards and great water that is sandy - not rocky like most CT. beaches. There is plenty to do for families. Lots of food, arcade a gym and a small area with childrens rides. All... More

Came here for a family outing. The water was still cold so we did go in. But there are a lot to do for all ages. The bathroom was clean. We were able to keep our entire party entertained. Not a bad place to visit if you are visiting CT.

This beach was wonderful! The sand was great and the ocean was pretty calm and clear. It was nice to have a cafe and ice stand near by. There's a boardwalk with shade, trash cans, bathrooms and benches. There was also a water park for kids, small rides and a pool. It was definitely worth the visit!

If you are a resident of CT. this is a great "staycation." Stay in Groton, see the Sub Base, go to the Dinosaur Place and then spend a relaxing day at the beach in New London. All your money is spent here in CT. It will help the CT. economy. There are plenty of other things to do here in... More

We went on Friday, July 25th. Parking was $17.00. The water slide is $3.00 a trip or $10.00 unlimited from 11 am to 2 pm OR 2 pm to 5 pm. Very thin crowd, little to no wait on the slide. I did it 25 times; my 10 year old did it 63. Four stories tall (that's 52 steps). Clean... More

If you love a pool or the ocean you can have both at Ocean Beach Park. I enjoy a cool dip in a pool, and the Olympic size pool here is the best. Not crowded when you go during the week and well maintained. They now have a wristband available where you pay $7.00 and you can come and go... More

The hours online are wrong and so is the parking cost! Parking on the weekend is $22.00 Hours are from 8am until sunset. Very clean and quiet. Left our stuff unattended and when we returned everything was still in it's place. However I do not have infants, but brought a diaper with me and put my money and cell phone... More

We have been here a few times since it is one of the closest beaches. Beach isn't that big, but there is a lot of extras here. (for a price) waterslides: $3 for 1 ride, $10 for a 3 hr pass or $18 for all day spray park: free (under 8 yrs) playground-free picnic area-free rides (old rides)- price depends... More
