Hubby and I were gifted A Taste of New Haven; thus, we had no idea what to expect. I'll try to summarize so you will: There are several New Haven neighborhoods from which to choose your "taste" of the city. We chose the Theatre District option for the variety of cuisines offered; we have no regrets. We met our fabulous... More

We appreciate your wonderful and informative review. Given its positive nature, we were surprised to see that you gave us such a low rating, and we are hoping that this was just a mistake. Hope to see you on another tour soon! More

My BF and I read about food tours in many different cities and have always wanted to try one. We live in Brookfield, CT (near Danbury) and decided to try one close to home and after reading the reviews about Taste of New Haven on Trip Advisor, decided to go for it. We're so glad that we did! Jennifer was... More

The Theater District food tour with Natalie this past Sunday was phenomenal! Not only was Natalie well informed and personable and a masterful guide, the restaurants included on the tour were all very good to excellent. The food quality and quantity was better than any tour we've taken. The ahi tuna sliders and hand cut fries at Temple Grill were... More

The food and drink alone would make this 4-hour excursion worth it, but what really made the tour special was guide (and owner) Colin Caplan's witty and knowledgeable commentary throughout the day. We chose the Theater District tour, and were introduced to several restaurants and shops we had never experienced before, even though we live in the area. The first... More

There aren't enough words to express how happy I am that I FINALLY got to experience the Taste of New Haven. A group of friends surprised me with this tour for my 40th birthday. It was a perfect gift for me, since I am a die hard "foodie" and was born and raised in this beautiful city. We did the... More

This an interesting way of spending a few hours with friends or a community group. You get to sample a variety of restaurants while learning a bit more about New Haven. Temple Grill and Bar Pizza were excellent. Kelly's was good. I wasn't impressed with the food or atmosphere at Brick. There were also a tasting at Wine Thief (good)... More

I took this tour with two friends, all of us new to New Haven. WE have a terrific time, Colin does an amazing job of weaving history, food and drinks into this tour. We ended the tour at the New Haven Symphony which was in a gorgeous restored building and the music was fantastic. The restaurants were unique and delicious.... More
