The architecture here is absolutely amazing. Old and well taken care of building after after building is just beautiful. You don't even need to go inside to appreciate what the history is here. The landscaping is equally nice. This is one of the few universities in the United States that dates back to another time and has been well preserved.... More

We went to the visitor center and saw an introduction video and then got a free tour of campus. The intro video was entertaining for this musical fan. Our tour guide wasn't the most informative. He didn't seem to be able to answer a lot of questions. We liked the campus view. We were able to go in the library... More

We were driving through town for another reason and decided to stop into Yale. Really easy to find. Easy on/off 95. Central parking lot that is reasonable. Loved the bookstore. Nice area to walk around and soak it all in.

Visited here with my daughter and her friend. What an inspiring place! The tour was reasonable, the information session was good (and we've seen a few).

Even if you don't see inside any of the university buildings it's a delight just to wander around and between them and soak up the atmosphere. The university is spread out all over the town and there's plenty to see and admire.

We were on our way back from a beach trip, and stopped off with our children for a quick walk around. Parked by the visitors center on Elm St, got a map and asked for some pointers on a quick visit. We only walked around for a short amount of time with our toddlers, but it was well worth the... More

This is a fantastic place to walk around with a medieval atmosphere. There are also nice cafes and restaurants in the area and a park.

It's a bit stressful to find parking but roll around the side streets, pay for your 2 hours of parking close to tour time, and then head to the visitors center. The whole tour (including the 15 min wait ahead of time watching a video with the rest of the group) lasted about 90 minutes with an energetic guide who... More

Being one of the oldest universities in the United States, the architecture of this campus is amazing. All around New Haven you are surrounded by the splendor of Yale University, and all the nostalgia that goes along with it. It is a must see, so inspiring.
