We enjoyed walking through the campus and enjoyed the old buildings and scenery. Worth the stop if you are in New Haven

We should all go and spend time at these first universities of America. Harvard and Yale give us nearly as old as we get here in this country. Combine the school with the shops and the fabulous restaurants, and you've got a fun weekend!

The organisation of walking tours of the city by young students gives a lovely insight into the way this beautiful institution works. I'm 73 but it gave me the desire to go back to school.

Parking is a bit tough in New Haven, but this visit we just left the car in the hotel lot and walked all over campus. Getting to see the inside of the renovated Sterling Memorial Library was a treat. Beautiful!

See the Whiffenpoofs perform. Go to a football game or a hockey game. Visit the gallery. Hang out on campus. Wander through the Gothic colleges. Engage the students. Shop at the book store. It is a college like no other.
