Awesome buildings, great safety staff on bikes and nice atmosphere to hang out. More relaxed then Harvard and a unique place to spend your days. Shops, diners, they got it all. Nice little university town comparable with Cambridge in the UK.

For a day anyway! Very historic and nice walking! Plenty of eateries around the area. Some shopping as well.

Yale has an impressive campus of old granite buildings and beautiful greens. We were especially impressed by the Harkness Tower.

I love this campus and the art museums (i wish I were a student there!) but the place can be a bit dry if you are visiting by yourself. For that reason, I strongly recommend the walking tour offered by the visitors center (http://visitorcenter.yale.edu/) where students guide you around and explain the life of the campus, how studies are structured... I've been to visit Yale in New Haven quite a few times now, and every time I go, it is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend goes to school there, so I like to visit whenever I get the chance. I've visited during the early fall, middle of winter, and most recently, late spring. The campus is gorgeous and pleasant to just... More

The campus is huge full of trees, beautiful architecture and a very nice way to relax and have a walk there in the summer . If you are new New Haven its worth a stop.

I had a tour from one of the students and she was so exuberant about her experiences at Yale. The campus and the buildings were historic and beautiful.

So, after all these great reviews on line we decided to walk Yale grounds. I am not sure what was it the dreary Gothic architecture or extreme humidity of the day but I did not find anything particular outstanding about these buildings. I am not an architecture buff to know that there are far more interesting Gothic structures. It seems... More

They are fixing it up a bit. Nice! The new med school is growing so much. Great to see. But a lot of old buildings are now gone that I knew but out with the old and in with the new. Hope they do great things with all of it.
