This is a lovely college campus with plenty of trees and shade and wonderful architecture to look at. The surrounding area is not the nicest, so this feels like a little oasis. I grabbed a cup of coffee and a donut at a nearby restaurant and alternated between walking the campus and sitting on one of the many benches enjoying... More

The architecture of the campus is simply amazing! There is a beautiful blend of 'old' with 'new'. If you visit in the Spring or the Summer, you can also enjoy the 'green' by walking though the wonderful parks found all around the university area!

We attended the free tour organised by the Yale University Visitors centre and it was first rate. The tour guide was a second year student who gave us plenty of useful and amusing facts as he walked us around parts of the University. Consider this a must for any visitor to this part of the world

New Haven is not a nice City, but this University was so beautiful and amazing. We really loved it there. Unfortunately the weather was not good. but that does not bother us, we wandered around and saw very much.

I walked around the campus for a few hours. Very beautiful architecture. The brick buildings look ancient, but never saw any information on any of them. The campus was lively, with all the college age students roaming. The bar scene was pretty good every day I visited as well.

The Yale campus, like many urban universities is spread our over a a wide area. But it is very accessible and easy to negotiate. If I want back, I would make time to get a through tour of the campus, as it is worth it.

My son and I toured Yale to see if he would be interested in applying. The grounds and buildings are impressive and our guide had lots of stories for us. We did some walking around on our own but I think the official campus tour is the best way to see Yale.

Wander among the buildings and marvel at the architecture and the beautifully manicured gardens and lawns. Sit on bench seat on Old Campus and gaze towards Harkness Tower, walk past all of the colleges and soak up the history. This place is amazing and inspiring. There are so many things to do - take an official campus tour (M-F at... More

My daughter and I toured Yale her junior year in high school and both felt like it was the place for her. She was accepted early decision and has just finished her freshman year. As a mom I felt so good about her choice. I felt like she would be safe and in a family type atmosphere. I was right!... More

The campus is beautiful! If you have the time and the weather is nice I would suggest walking through the campus. The architecture is stunning and the grounds are well maintained. It's a short walk from a number of the city's highlights.
