Yale campus is much better than Harvard. Articulately designed, so serene and conducive to learning. Very classy. Architecturally awesome. It was a worthwhile visit. I want to come back here in my next US trip.

Freshman parent mixer in one of the college's courtyards gave me a true appreciation for Yale's architecture and student diversity. The art museum is a worthwhile visit, leave plenty of time to enjoy the paintings. The rare book library is an interesting structure and worth a stop by, but probably will not take a great deal of time. We have... More

We walked around the downtown New Haven/Yale area just to get a feel for the surrounding area of the college my daughter is attending (shes going to UNH). The area was beautiful and clean and the brownstones on the side roads are so quaint, we really enjoyed the serene walk. We tried to eat at Pepes pizza but the line... More

Awesome buildings, great safety staff on bikes and nice atmosphere to hang out. More relaxed then Harvard and a unique place to spend your days. Shops, diners, they got it all. Nice little university town comparable with Cambridge in the UK.

For a day anyway! Very historic and nice walking! Plenty of eateries around the area. Some shopping as well.

Yale has an impressive campus of old granite buildings and beautiful greens. We were especially impressed by the Harkness Tower.

I love this campus and the art museums (i wish I were a student there!) but the place can be a bit dry if you are visiting by yourself. For that reason, I strongly recommend the walking tour offered by the visitors center (http://visitorcenter.yale.edu/) where students guide you around and explain the life of the campus, how studies are structured... I've been to visit Yale in New Haven quite a few times now, and every time I go, it is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend goes to school there, so I like to visit whenever I get the chance. I've visited during the early fall, middle of winter, and most recently, late spring. The campus is gorgeous and pleasant to just... More
