The campus is huge full of trees, beautiful architecture and a very nice way to relax and have a walk there in the summer . If you are new New Haven its worth a stop.

I had a tour from one of the students and she was so exuberant about her experiences at Yale. The campus and the buildings were historic and beautiful.

So, after all these great reviews on line we decided to walk Yale grounds. I am not sure what was it the dreary Gothic architecture or extreme humidity of the day but I did not find anything particular outstanding about these buildings. I am not an architecture buff to know that there are far more interesting Gothic structures. It seems... More

They are fixing it up a bit. Nice! The new med school is growing so much. Great to see. But a lot of old buildings are now gone that I knew but out with the old and in with the new. Hope they do great things with all of it.

We visited Yale on June 11th - spent a few hours walking around the environments with its old and fantastic buildnings. The most awesome is the Old Campus - I can stay there for hours feeling the history.

Yale University has a lot of resources compared to other universities. I used its libraries on regular basis. There are lots of things you can do in the area. The campus itself is old so there is this antique feeling to it more so than you'd experience at all at all other schools. Basically, I only have great things to... More

My husband and I stopped at YALE as we were driving from Connecticut to Massachusetts and drove through New Haven.....pretty depressing. It was hard to believe one of the countries best universities is in one of the worst areas. It also felt odd that their bookstore was a Barnes and Noble. Fun to see but don't go alone.

It's doubtful that anyone does a reunion better, and whether you're a grad or not, a walk around the campus and a visit to key institutions like the Art Gallery and the Library will take you through beautiful architecture, soothing courtyards and stimulating experiences.

New haven and Yale a beautiful in the summer. Come stroll the grounds when the students are gone. The tours are nice if you do not know about the residential colleges and want to hear about some of the Yale urban legends.
