Located near downtown New Britain and in back of the New Britain Art Museum. This park includes a lengthy walking path that is heavily used by people of all ages. As an added benefit you get to view some of New Britain's Older more stately homes as you do the walk. Parking is available.

I used to live close to the park and it was a part of our daily routine. During summer, the concerts are free and fun and the walk is a nice time. There are lots of people that frequent the park which makes it nice. I walked during two pregnancies here and love it!

i grew up outside of New Britain and liked to walk up all the steps to see the monument. The wading pool is gone, but the bandshell is still there and in the summer there are bicycle races to watch.

This is close to my home and I am proud to live near such a beautiful park! It is well maintained with plenty of activities year round. Great spot for walking or just sitting under a tree reading a book. Another treasure in New Britain!

This park is a great place to go for walks! There are the shell concerts in the summer that are very popular. The rose garden is simply gorgeous & definitely worth a visit when they are in bloom. It can seem like it's in an odd location (right next to the hospital) but don't let that bother you.

A beautifully laid out park, hilly, treed, a rose garden at the top with a view. Many people enjoying the walking loop around the park, ball fields, tennis courts and an excellent band shell with free Wed night concerts in the summer. Adjacent to NB Museum of American Art -- visit them both!

I am not one for exercise, but after walking the track @ Walnut Hill Park, I can't wait to get out of work each day. There are so many people walking, riding bikes, skating, etc. I walked 4 laps yesterday and didn't want to stop. I love the fact that New Britain has this beautiful park!!!!! Mekia!

Its small but it has fountain, rose garden, and a memorial. There is a nice breeze since its on top of a hill and shaded areas to sit and have your lunch. Go and grab your hot dogs from Capital Lunch and have your picnic here at the park. Walk off your lunch then go to the New Britain Museum... More

It's just a patch a land on a hill surrounded by a run down neighborhood on one side and the hospital on the other.
