This is a jewel in our city. Always a favorite for walkers, runners, cyclists. It is well lit in the evening for summer night strolls. Roses at the top of the hill are lovely and there are exercise stations throughout the park. Baseball diamonds and tennis courts are very popular. And during the summer months, there are free outdoor concerts... More

a nice treasure in ole New Britain. The bandshell is not as active as it was when I was a kid, but everyone uses the roads to stay fit. Never played tennis there but the kids have used the playground many times. Something for everyone an NB does a real good job keeping it up!

Excellent facilities for walking. Two times around equals two miles. Cool breeze and excellent scenery with beautiful homes and landscaping. Good parking and very easy to find. The rose garden at the top level is well worth the visit.
